I'd say that back in 2016 much of what he said was misleading.

These days the vast majority are outright lies. Most of the time it's not clear if he knows he's lying though. Some of the things he says are so patently untrue or absurd, it's hard to imagine someone lying so boldly without fear of getting caught. And then there are the weird side rants about sharks, audiences that aren't there, people eating dogs and cats. There's the fact that sometimes he forgets he's running against Harris these days and not Biden. There's so so much wrong with him now.

I think he is extremely unwell mentally and honestly I'd be very surprised if his mind and body would last him four more years.

MAGA cult is all about freedom for “me” but if you don’t share their very specific values and mores they want you policed in the same way citizens are in a dictatorship.

Trump obviously isn’t Hitler, America’s circumstances in the world don’t make that development very likely, but just as the life of ordinary NAZI supporting citizens would have been very good in the 1930s under Hitler, so would life be under a Dictator Trump.
