What I dont understand is how people are shocked and in disbelief over what Biden looked like on stage. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?? There's a new video out every week that makes him look like he has no clue what's going on, yet, we have the media covering for him and the press secretary saying those videos are "cheap fakes" and not real ---- and the media covers for that and the sheep accept it.
But you’re conflating attempts to manipulate videos with cropping and edits, which is intentionally deceitful, for clueless people who thought he is in perfect health.

The former is no different than all the liberals who yelled “dog whistling” when Trump talked about bloodbaths if he didn’t win. It works both ways. Both parties are trying to game the system by exaggerating things out of context.

The latter are probably a lot of people who haven’t seen him do an end-to-end public talk since the State of the Union.

The vote was along party lines, everyday there's something new in this country that affirms that the Republican party is dead to me. I don't care how you feel about Biden, decisions like this make Trump's Presidency the worst possible outcome for the longterm viability of the nation.

Supreme Court appointments being for life kinda made sure of that a long time ago imo.
It hasn't panned out well, but the idea behind it is that it makes the justices more independent now they don't have to worry about their appointment.

Apart from the Supreme Court it's also ridiculous judges are elected in the US by the way.

The Supreme Court ruled that presidents have immunity for 'official' acts.

But, man, the dissenting opinion of Sotomayor is something else:

"Whether described as presumptive or absolute, under the majority’s rule, a President’s use of any official power for any purpose, even the most corrupt, is immune from prosecution. That is just as bad as it sounds, and it is baseless".
