He didn't spend shit on it, his fellow investors and partners did. He didn't pony-up 44Bil in cash, broseppi.
He’s got his name attached to it though. His ego is too big for him to not take making Twitter a successful company seriously.
He did massively overpay for it though. It’s going to be an uphill task trying to fix a product that’s struggling to monetise like its peers in the space.

To be a mutli-use app similar to what other countries use (ie. a marketplace or make payments using the app...not just for "public townhall" or whatever he calls it)

lol u guys really don't like the guy
Superapps are incredibly hard to build. Especially in developed economies where consumers have a lot of choice.
IMO Twitter needs to simplify, there’s a shit ton of crap features on there that have been bolted together without much thought.

Especially in an industry as subsidized as energy. But don’t be fooled, most fossil fuel companies are invested in alternative energy, just like the automotive industry with EVs. They could easily offer integrated solutions to supply energy. But that doesn’t lead to the type of market control that creates disaster proof record profits.
True dat. Most fossil fuel companies have been diversifying, which is why that reporter's question was loaded with feigned industry ignorance.

But you're right in that monopolies are much harder to protect when granny and her rooftop solar is in competition with you.

LOL twitter world on fire - love it
Is that like MySpace world being on fire?
