A bit of both. I know he was polling better with African Americans and I can see the current riots and dissatisfaction reversing some of this polling. Not that polling actually means anything.

I think its still extremely hard for an incumbant to lose re-election and if the economy rebounds from the COVID-19 losses and jobs market sees growth, it would be hard for Biden to use the economy against Trump. Right now, that's probably one of his stronger plays. Though most people with an understanding of economics know the recent unemployment, etc, isn't a Trump thing so much as a pandemic thing.

Also, getting Biden into a debate with Trumps seems like a very bad idea. The one liners Trump was able to throw at Hillary while he was also not really debating well will only be even more effective with his base and right-center voters in my opinion.
And that is why he will attack Trump for his handling of the pandemic. Actually he already has.

some wild stories coming out of the Seattle Antonymous Zone. Apparently they already have their own pseudo police force which is allowed to use physical force to maintain order.

Who would've thought.

Build a fucking wall around the place so they can't get out.

Wait til Trump does his rallies in NC and AZ where cases are jumping since the opening
These protests and riots are literally a godsend for Trump and his disastrously incompetent coronavirus response.

Cases have been spiking all across the south due to the rush to reopen, but this will all get blamed on the protests by Trump and his enablers. In fact, we shall likely see him trying to change timelines and blame the death toll on the protests. We’ve already seen him blame Obama for the lack of a Covid-19 test.

That's like rewarding bad behavior.

That's fair though, and the spike will happen in the east too. Hopefully the current events will lead to a higher voter turnout where it matters. The election is Dems' to lose imo.

It is fair, for sure, and the hypocrisy of democrats over coronavirus and the protests is highly amusing, but doesn’t really paint the whole picture, so hopefully the Trump admins incompetency throughout the whole pandemic isn’t forgotten.
