Even if it is two black guys beating up a white girl, what is it supposed to mean? No one’s claiming all black people are innocent or incapable of committing crimes.
I don't get why all of a sudden now this thread has become a circle jerk of "DA LIBS HAET WHITES."

We've already established that dumb extreme shit you see on Twitter is not the commonly held beliefs of most people, so why are we then taking these posts and extrapolating it to mean that? It serves no helpful purpose.

I don't think it has become that.

So does this current situation destroy Trump's chances at re election or actually strengthen them?

I feel that it is initially damaging to him but maybe, the longer this goes on, the more fed up with the situation people will become. Pretty sure most people in America simply want stability. The opportunity to work, send their kids to school and resume normal life again.

Because that's easier to attack and be mad about. Also gives you the opportunity to pose the very important question of why CNN doesn't report this

A bit of both. I know he was polling better with African Americans and I can see the current riots and dissatisfaction reversing some of this polling. Not that polling actually means anything.

I think its still extremely hard for an incumbant to lose re-election and if the economy rebounds from the COVID-19 losses and jobs market sees growth, it would be hard for Biden to use the economy against Trump. Right now, that's probably one of his stronger plays. Though most people with an understanding of economics know the recent unemployment, etc, isn't a Trump thing so much as a pandemic thing.

Also, getting Biden into a debate with Trumps seems like a very bad idea. The one liners Trump was able to throw at Hillary while he was also not really debating well will only be even more effective with his base and right-center voters in my opinion.

We've already established that dumb extreme shit you see on CNN is not the commonly performed actions of most cops, so why are BLM then taking these events and extrapolating it to mean that? It serves no helpful purpose.

Context is everything, I consider myself more left in terms of policy but when I say that I mean in reference to Australian politics. Does that mean there aren't some things I agree with that the right suggest, no, but overall more left leaning. Honestly in Australia, for the most part, both major political parties are sort of centre anyway for nearly everything in terms of federal government. States vary a bit more.
In Australia, for a very long time, the LNP and ALP were basically exactly the same party, except for slight differences in economic and social issues. But with Scott Morrison and dudes like Peter Dutton floating around, there is a worry that the party will keep shifting further and further to the right and become Australia’s version of the Republicans.

Dude, Conservative Christians have been banning (and even burning) sinful books for decades. I guess they really are upset about finally getting a taste of their own medicine. Lol

 Yep. It’s borderline impossible to call yourself a moderate on either side of the fence right now, without being full on attacked as a sell-out or traitor (to the left or right) by the loudest imbeciles out on the fringe pushing the partisan divide.
This is unfortunately true.

Both far-left and far-right extremists have much more in common than they are willing to admit. Different cheeks, same ass.

I was going to say EXACTLY what you just said. This movement needs someone like an MLK or a Malcom X. Someone who is fairly young, but not too young, but experienced enough in decades of inequality to see everything from all sides.

Sadly, it isn't here. Tupac would have been that guy. He would be around 50 right now, and it is very safe to assume that had he followed the path that he was following in regards to inequality and injustice, he would have been right on the front lines. I think that was his higher calling once his rap career was done. He wouldn't have been somebody to throw money at the problem.

Anyone that actually listened to the man, knows that he was as multi-faceted as you can get, without sacrificing his roots. My wife was surprised at the level of articulate conversation that he had in a LOT of his interviews.

I told way back then he was much much deeper than what you saw on the surface
Fuck Orlando Anderson and the Southside Crips for taking him away from us.

And we missed out on years of Pac absolutely destroying these mumblerap, Soundcloud fags as well
