Disregard that its Fox - the threats come straight for the horses mouth.

“I’m a leader of this FTP movement. It means a lot of things. It could mean ‘free the people’, it could mean ‘for the people’, or it could also mean ‘fire to property’ and you know that’s very possible,” said the protest leader.

“Today I’m leading a demonstration from Barclay Center at 6pm to City Hall, and that’s the first stop. I hope Mayor de Blasio and Governor Cuomo come out and talk to us and give the youth some direction. But if they don’t, the next stop is the Diamond District. And gasoline, thanks to Trump, is awfully cheap.”

Peaceful protests speak volumes. They worked to end segregation, they would work for police reform now. Unjustified violence is never the answer and the fucking cop will (hopefully all 4) are about to learn that.

These retarded celebrities and lunatic left calling to defund police are idiots. That's obviously not the answer. Cops aren't perfect but they are still effective in these minority communities.

As you know, I'm Conservative but I am quite liberal on a lot of social issues. Smart gun laws, etc. You can't take away guns AND defund police. What kind of logic is that?
Defunding police entirely is retarded. I believe the somewhat reasonable idea before idiots millennial liberals took it over, was to delegate certain situations to more appropriate responders. For example, mental health professionals for mental health emergencies. And then to defund the militarization of police (ie. police departments don’t need to be equipped with military assault weapons outside the most advanced highly trained SWAT units). These are reasonable discussions about lowering police budgets in specific areas where the harm/good is up for discussion and debate.

Defunding police entirely or even largely is asinine and those pushing it right now are morons.

On your last point.... Funny thing about gun control, is that countries (modern first world democracies anyways) with stricter gun control and regulation generally need a far less heavily armed police force. This doesn’t mean police shouldn’t be armed with guns, but it does suggest that their job would be a hell of a lot easier without retarded ease of access to guns.

I would hazard a guess that this is just an asinine PR stunt to score points with the morons.

In reality, it will probably be a drop of water in the ocean that is the NYPD budget. The general idea of funding youth and social services and doing more community outreach to fix broken aspects of community and culture is a good one.

If this a serious defunding though :sergio:

I think their (officers) stance is they were clearing the area as they were instructed to do, looks like they claim not much force was used and they believe the man slipped as he stumbled back, or something like that. I actually haven't seen the video, only seen picture of him on his back bleeding. They haven't resigned from the force, but removed themselves from the riot unit they were in working in the force.
Really? You seem to watch a lot of videos. That one was circulated widely and you are discussing it here. Do you expect it to be too violent to watch?

Lets move to our own island and have a greenhouse battle.

"I tried to call for the police, no one was picking up".

Imagine that, they needed the police. Good look with the defunding...
Let’s get neighbouring islands. We have garden wars of one-upmanship. You install something in your garden, I immediately go bigger, and vice versa. Acts of sabotage encouraged.

BPD also lied about the incident in their initial statement on it. Said the man wasn’t touched and he just slipped and hit his head. Pretty clear they knew they fucked up there.

Didn't he run on a platform of dissing the police?

De Blasio seems like a major cuck.
Didn't he refuse the extra law enforcement Cuomo offered him cause he thought the NYPD could handle the looters, then New York proceeded to get absolutely raped, even Cuomo wasn't happy.

the guy seems like a high ranking Cuck
