Also it seems highly contradictory that you acknowledge that we are inconsequential specks of dust in the cosmos, but God sent his son on this One planet (out of a trillion) to personally give humans a chance at salvation. That doesn’t seem humble at all.

The worst part is that it's all set up. God knows all. So he knew Eve would bite from the apple. Hell, he created Eve with all her human flaws. He's the one who created her curiosity. He punishes people for doing something which he knew they would do and something he designed them to do. Creating man only to be able to punish him and to let him strive to improve God's humour for all eternity is an exercise in futility. At best God is doing this to stroke his own ego.
