That's exactly it. He's just spouting gibberish talking points that you find in Fox News or Breitbart comments. And when called out on it, he cries fouls and claims people are misinterpreting him. It's boring.

Referendum votes on every single issue.
Would also require referendums on which referendums to have.

God, that would be terrible. People with zero knowledge voting on something they have no clue about and base their votes solely on some right/left wing media bullshitters.
Would be terrible, but kind of amusing to witness. ::lol3::

I'm still finding it rather unbelievable that someone would fail to understand that America is very obviously a representative democracy.

Obviously you can’t read because I do understand but hey keep pushing your narrative
You said, and I quote: "America isn't a democracy, it's a constitutional republic."

Pretty damn obvious you claimed America isn't a democracy, and you only backtracked later when people called you out for it. But keep talking about narratives and playing the victim. No one's learning anything from the alternative facts and Breitbart propaganda you are spewing in here.

In the USA it does because the Democrats on the left use the Democracy nomenclature to push majority rules in the minds of their voting block. That’s why they always talk about popular vote etc. meanwhile that’s not how our system works. So to differentiate and try to explain the reality to some we need to parse out the difference between democracy and constitutional republic
Keep reading, even seven finally understood what I was trying to say
OK. I quoted the other statement that I think you stand by. So do you think electoral college is what differentiates a democracy from a republic?

By the way let me remind you Electoral College and winner take all system for 48 states are not the same thing.

I didn’t but hey you do you I’m gonna eat lunch
Very classy, beside the fact that your post has nothing to do with what you quoted but hey it’s ok if acting like a juvenile pissing on a wall made you feel better it’s all good.
Oh and America isn’t a democracy it’s a constitutional republic so learn something simpleton
It's literally what you said, man. No one is misquoting you.

So you stand by your statement that "America isn't a democracy"?

As another user asked you already, please give an example of a country that is a "direct democracy."

Because if you cannot then only a complete dunce would ever make the statement you made about America not being democracy, instead of stating that it's a representative democracy not a direct democracy, the latter of which is entirely implausible on a large scale.

No it’s the rule of law.
In a republic elected representatives enact laws which are the final say

In a pure democracy it’s basically mob rule. I know I’m being simplistic but I’m eating
