Till yesterday I believed that there is some hope for USA but after the Senate hearing on cryptos this belive vanished. That country is beyond saving. Its people are the greediest and stupidest on Earth and the new financial crash will come most likely from that place. There now rule people who are addicted to Trump, guns, drugs, petrol, coal, expensive but ineficient health care, and most disturbingly financial bubbles. On every 10 or so years they surprise the world with yet another mindblowingly stupid financial disaster and every new one is more devastating than the previous. I do not know what will be the first to blow up this time - the stock market, the housing market or this new paradigm but old as the world scam scheme called crypto"currencies". I know for sure that their regulators and legislators are not there to protect the consumers, investors and the population as a whole but they serve only the highest bidder - in yesterday it was the crypto mafia's dick that was being sucked. I know for sure that people involved in cryptos are there because of greed and some distorted world views and will not make the world better place. Most of them lack even basic understanding of economics and finance or even their beloved crypto shits. They will invest and promote as gold even pictures of their own turds if they are in the blockchain. Very soon the world will realise that behind the utopian promises of the crypto mafia is nothing but dystopian intentions. I am afraid the people will learn it the hard way that their new gods are the same as their old gods. This new paradigm is the same old game of exploatation of people and resources for the benefit of the few.

I would not "invest" in something created by someone like you. And please stop calling it an investment all this crypto shit. I know that all of this is based on blissful ignorance about facts, rationality and knowledge but comeeeeeee on ... Really you will never gonna rule the world with only several cliches phrases like HODL, FUD, "To the moon"," nocoiners" etc. Look at the president of the USA. He is...o, wait...

I am rational which is something you probably do not encounter very often in your fantasy world. That is why you are confused.

You are predicting the fate of a Nation based on one Senate hearing and calling yourself rational?

It is nor really hard when similar things have happened twice in the last twenty years in the good old USA. When the chairman of the CFTC defends this crypto shits based on that his relatives are HODLers I think the things are pretty fucked up already. His main job is to understand the implications this technology will have on consumers and investors and protect them and not to protect his net worth and that of his relatives. I am sure this guy is "investing" in this Ponzi scheme. For USA it seems that nepotism is a normal thing these days.

why? most of the stuff you've been saying were true the day before yesterday as well, surely Cryptocurrencies not getting taken down doesn't change that.

although me personally I don't believe crypto will change the world or really take some of the power away from banks, I also don't mind it being there. sure, many people will loose money at it, but many people also loose money on lotteries, this one at least has better chance of success for the involved

I have been following cryptos for the last five years and I know that you cannot control this without proper regulation. The nature of this shit is that it relays on human greed and stupidity and they are in abundance in the world. I was aware several months before this scam to grow so popular that Asian countries will be the first to take measures against them.It became so popular there that it threatened their economies and societies. The general public do not understand it but they buy it anyway.I shared my views for many months on investing forums and among frends. I predicted with very high accuracy the regulations in China, SK, India etc. I also was sharing my views that after Asian countries start pushing to control cryptos USA will probably will take over as a heaven for cryptos. You can always rely on the barbarian capitalism in USA with their highest share of nutjobs, libertarians and sociopaths.I hate it when I am right about such things..And this hearing confirmed my suspicions.Regulators do not understand cryptos and crypto mafia do not understand anything. This is why I belive that USA can inflate this bubble to stratospheric levels. This is what they do.And this will impact the whole world.I hope this time I would be wrong but I really doubt it. With cryptos there should be global solution and the biggest nutjobs among them should be send to Mars. There is no point to discuss in detail in this forum why any current iteration of the crypto shits out there is nothing more but a Ponzi scheme. It is not hard to make money with cryptos but the problems start when more and more people try to do it. In crypto universe ordinary people will be skinned.I would love if only the nutjobs got involved but it won't work like that.

This is true and it is why cryptocurrency right now cannot work. Nothing has inherent financial value. We choose to agree that money has a certain value, so we don't have to resort to bartering. Cryptocurrency is problematic, because governments don't know what to do with it. And that carries significant risk. Let's say the US declares Bitcoin illegal. That would make it virtually worthless. Not until we have all agreed that cryptocurrency is something we are actually going to use for a long time, will it have any true meaning.

Yes I agree but belive me that even with reliable government oversight it will be very hard to control it. There are widespread and persistent problems in cryptos with manipulation, misinformation and outright delusions. And crypto community is not working on it.Despite what crypto mafia say order and transperancy are their enemies. When a new coin starts trading you should forget about its intended purpose and utility. It becomes just a speculative asset. All of these coins are flawed and cannot work as currencies or assets. Most of them are not some proprietary technology or trademark and they basically do the same thing. There is really verry little that can differentiate them one from another. Some have sound concepts as something more than speculative assets but in the end they too become like the others. Volatitlity, lack of predictability and clear competitive advantages make them unfit for any purpose different than speculation, money laundering, tax evasion and other criminal activity. If governments want to create new tax heavens - these will be.Crypto mafia do not understand basic concepts like this or deflation and inflation. They do not understnd blockchain too. Ten years existence and most of them do not understand what really is bitcoin. :D And speak about market caps. This is like investors in S&P 500 company to not know after 10 years what their company does but it is valued more than 200 billion dolars. :D Some of them think what it should really do but it does not do it in reallity.Crupto universe is a mess and there is no clear path forward.
