Red lines have PR purposes imo, even if he does cut aid to those countries, it won't be because they voted in favor of declaring his decision null.

Did you see this:

Danny Danon, Israel's Ambassador to the U.N., held up a coin he said is from 67 AD and bears the words -- in Hebrew -- "Freedom of Zion."

He said it is "clear evidence … that proves the ancient connection of Jews to Jerusalem."

"No UNESCO declaration, no empty speeches, no General Assembly resolution will ever drive us from Jerusalem," he said. "These are the facts this body does not want to hear. These are the facts this body wishes to ignore."

my god
I don't understand what US will gain from this PR fiasco. Cutting aid to countries like Afghanistan and Egypt has some serious national security consequences. Not following up with the threat will also tell everyone that emperor has no clothes.
publicly announced red lines are blunders. It forces your hand while the other party retain their options.

This really sounds as if she has no experience in diplomacy whatsoever. At least not at that level. I mean, of course the US takes note who voted for or against a certain issue. The UN general assembly takes some of the most important decisions in the world. I expect most countries to know, or at the very least to want to know, how other countries voted on major issues.

The bitch tries to make it sounds like a threat, but really it's something you ought to be fucking doing in the first place. Oh, and you're supposed to never mention it out loud and quietly pressure other countries, offer them quid pro quo deals and actually get shit done behind the scenes. That's what a diplomat does.
She was governor of South Carolina before this so she really has like zero diplomacy experience. Just a mouth piece.

Word. Jewish people are cool too. Albania is one of the countries that took em in during the holocaust
Yes, the only country in the world that there were more jews after the war then before it.

They hold annual ceremonies to thank us for that.

And a jewish lobbyist published a book where amongst many things mentioned that they lobbied for Kosovo's independence as they felt they owed that to Albanians.

Irony is that they don't recognize our independence yet because of their problem with Palestine.

Saying this, I don't agree with many things they do there, civilians should not be touched no matter what.
