What is it about him that you genuinely like?
Many of his policies (immigration, drain the swamp, pro-life etc.), anti-globalisation stance and his less PC attitude/demeanour. He's also entertaining and good meme material.

And would you want him to be the head of the Australian government?
Figuratively yes, but obviously he doesn't know enough about Australia to be PM here. Don't know if he's tough enough on immigration to be PM here anyway.

Have his actions so far lived up to that rhetoric, in your opinion?

Assuming he is exactly the same person, just born and raised in Australia in this scenario :p

He doesn't know enough about Australia to be PM there just like he doesn't know enough about America to be president here. But that didn't stop him.

I hate him but he definitely knows America very well. The fact that he took his realty show to national politics successfully should tell you that.

I would say mostly yes. The only thing contrary to his rhetoric from what I've seen so far is one or two repeals of some anti-corruption measures. However he has signed at least one executive order against lobbying from what I've seen so time will tell what his actual motives there are.

I prefer Trump to Malcom Turntbull

Even the "drain the swamp" part, considering his cabinet picks?

Political reddit sucks, but it's true, really disgusting tactic. Especially combined with how he tries to create a vacuum of informational authority by discrediting every news organisation even slightly critical of him.

You know those guys are just waiting for an actual Muslim terrorist attack on US soil to really start implementing the serious stuff.

And I'm afraid the US government's involvement in that would not be just a conspiracy.

I feel like just appointing this drooling idiot as Secretary of Education should be enough to have you impeached.
