Honestly I like that people on Trump's team are talking about this. It shows that Trump really is a pathological liar and at the very least a narcissist who has no clue about what the important issues are for a president. He can't scream Fake News about this either, because they're the ones saying it.
It shows that to whom? :D

Kellyanne Conway's interview with NBC (not sure) was the best about the inaugural crowd size. The guy was asking her why the white house would send the press secretary to lie about such an unimportant thing, and her response (after her typical nonsense about irrelevant matters) was that what about the liberal media who in xyz occasion presented false information? She compared the freaking white house and president's false information with that of the media's, as if since you (the media) did it, we (the government) can do it too

To me.

Because even if I don't believe a word this man is saying, it's not always easy to prove lies. Stuff like this does.

And besides that it also shows what a petty man he is, more concerned about his popularity than doing his job.

By now it's pretty much fact he's not fit for the job and this is week 1.

You look at people like Andy and realize how easy it is to bad people who opress others to gain support and power so quickly.

Call me pessimist but I think society will never learn its lesson and history will keep repeating itself. It almost feels pointless.

Society's regaining unconsciousness.

A nation of adult infants and mental midgets.

A few years back when folks in the forum wanted the new coach (Ciro I think it was) to be given a chance before being criticized, Andy was the one who vehemently opposed it by mocking the 'Give him a chance' brigade. Funny how he's pretty much doing the same now for an appointment with actual consequences.

You know, the most absurd thing about this latest gaffe is the fact that he didn't even have to resort to any lies. There are actually legitimate reasons for the relatively low attendance: Washington is staunchly democrat, Obama had incredible record shattering attendances & Trump compares quite well to all other presidents....but no, they just had to resort to an extremely petty and easy to disprove lie.

It's incredible.

And if they're willing to flat out lie about such an unimportant detail, it kinda makes you wonder at what lengths this administration will go to when it comes to stuff that actually matters.

Oh, and stuff like this is exactly the type of things people in the west laugh about when it happens in some random third world country. It's Baghad Bob all over again.

:agree:

Have a look at this from someone who worked in a past us administration.

Yeah the infuriating part is that everything so far has shown that it could very well be a viable tactic. It's to set a precedent, so that people get used to it and it will become almost normal a few months or years ahead.

And like that article says, no matter whether it will really work for the majority of the population, it will create (or widen) the crack between his supporters and the rest, something that will be incredibly difficult to heal afterwards. It's bad enough if you gotta fight about the interpretation of facts and which facts should be discussed (so politics beforehand basically), when you don't even operate on the same level of facts anymore, it'll get really ugly.

Remember how the US laughed about the North Korean reaction to "The Interview"?
Yeah. Now imagine North Korea would make a movie like that about Trump.

People like Andy are the reason bad things happen to society. And you know why he's like that? Because he's lazy and complacent. Disgusting attitude.

It sets the stage for a violent ending. But Trump couldn't care less.

Ironical, since democrats are entirely to blame for all the issues of black folks in america today.
And I could've sworn you were saying that african american communities themselves are to be blamed for a large part...

At least keep your ridiculous narratives consistent.
