I'd agree with that sentiment if if were Iran or Syria you were talking about, but US politics are so televized in Europe that Europeans know just about as much about them as Americans.

Unfortunately.
When someone says "Trump did not make racism OK again" that just means he's out of touch with post-Trump US.

I think it is pretty obvious that conservatives don't have a consistent message. Kind of why they all got smoke during the primaries.
Or how they reacted to that Carrier saga. Or how Evangelical Christians justified voting for Trump. Or how nobody even thought of writing in Ron or Rand Paul. Or despite Trump's huge unpopularity Gary Johnson finished with Abysmal numbers.

Trump, Putin, Duterte, Erdogan soon maybe Le Pen - fucking psychopathic parading as messiahs but are just black holes sucking in the common sense and the good from the world. Anyone who supports them is responsible for the shithole they are going to create. Unfortunately the rest of us will be drawn with these morons into this abyss of unforgivable stupidity.

Wanted to ask US guys, need your opinion. How far do you think this trump and putin love gonna last? The thing is, we have a war here with russia, I've done one rotation already in artillery and my family lives like in 6-7 hours tank-drive from a warfare zone. Because of the sanctions russians did not go further, but looks like this thing really can change. Do you think it's time to evacuate my relatives elsewhere?

Yeah the Russian propaganda was top notch during the whole Donbas War. It's amazing how easily they won over Western societies.

Nah, they won, because no one give a damn about Ukraine, no hard feelings about it. And because it's far easier to accept russian point of view and do nothing than go against putin, lose money and really help. I mean if dem monkeys haven't floored mh17 there weren't gonna be any sanctions at all. The funny thing, russians floored mh17 from Amsterdam, but it was Netherlands who refuse to give Ukraine association agreement.

"Tyranny of the minority" was the exact argument used against Brown v. Board of Education. I thought it great irony.:p
Yeah, but they were clueless when the applied it. A tyranny presumes a violation of basic human rights, not the protections of them for minorities. :p

I'm not so sure. If you look at the 2008 election voting, many of these so-called "deplorables" voted for Obama.

I mean, I get why the Democratic party is soul-searching, but get over it already. The next wave of failure is going to hit us all in the face if people are just sitting around licking wounds. The stock markets and consumer confidence are sky high right now, and unjustifiably so. Trump and his cronies may be pro-business, but they have no plan for sustainable growth and seem completely incapable of guiding the public and the economy to where it needs to be in 5 years to not continue to crater on a whole swath of people.

Democrats and Republicans alike should be focusing more on 5 years ahead, not where we were during the elections last month.

Isn't the point? He's saying we neglected a certain group, but instead of calling them racists (for voting on Trump), he says Elitism plays a big part. I agree and we haven't heard such reflections (from a powerfull person like Biden) for a long time.

Proposing to build a wall between the US and Mexico incites intolerance against Mexicans.

Considering to refuse entry to Muslims also incites intolerance against them.

Pretty easy.

Yep. Especially with the Muslims. He somehow was able to sound both racist and religiously intolerant with that one. There are Muslims all over the world. Refusing them entry because of ISIS is retarded and stands against what this nation was founded on.

The wall is just ridiculous.
