Are you for real?

I mean, I can't even.. Do you understand how naive you are being?

That's the sort of Hollywood fantasy people rebel against when they vote Trump. That you don't even consider that it might be possible for America not to be great.. Either you never left the states in your life or this is years and years of indoctrination talking.
I'm not from the states, I've been to other countries around he world. And from what I've seen, the US is the easiest place to be whoever you want to be.yiull see people of all nationalities, races, and genders achieve thing they wouldn't have elsewhere. There's racism but it is overblown by the media. There's crime but that is also overblown by the media. This is still the land of opportunity like nowhere else.

Sure, we picked a dumbfuck for a president but it doesn't take away what makes America great.

I'm actually a little scared of going to the US now
It's probably similar to the soul-searching India had done over reports in recent years of massively publicized cases of violence against women. Some in India were calling it the final death throes of a dying cast that was losing its social power as society evolved past them.

I read these tweets in the same light.

I know, I was deliberately exaggerating.

Also, that shit most likely happens in rural areas.

These people are neanderthals, but it's time the media stopped pretending like they're the only ones. You can find millions of tweets advocating violence against Trump and his supporters too.

Also, calling white men all sorts of names is not racist apparently.
Of course. There are all types of ignorant fucks.

This song fits the situation in the US.

Not really. Sperm and egg cells are alive too and you're killing them by not giving them the chance to find each other.

It's just your rationale, but a different cut off point.
Sperm and eggs alone are not human life i.e. conception

You do realise most of this is made up...

For example:

We've spent the vast majority of this thread criticizing Trump and his supporters for their lack of ideas and inherent racism everywhere, but what are some of your ideas to make America great again?

It's really disgusting what the media has done, they've literally made people believe Trump is some boogeyman who's going to hide under people's bed and then yell racist remarks at them. They've created a state of mass hysteria based solely on lies. Even here, there are kids in primary schools crying because they've been told that "Trump is going to start WW3".

I mean...

He has certainly had his moments, you can't deny that. Not to mention his lawsuit in the 70s. The Central Park 5 as well.

I'm still waiting to hear what doesn't make America great anymore.
We can do better in many areas at the least.

That doesn't take away from all the opportunities this country affords to people tho.
Depends. With the stagnation in wage growth and ridiculous cost of college, I'd say it can be harder to achieve certain things depending on your goals. I've never left the country though so I have nothing to compare it to.

Low socio-economic mobility, the cost of education, high inequality, gun-violence, crime-rate in general, prison population, obesity, a disfunctioning democracy (compare these with Canada, Australia, Germany, Swizerland, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway). And the poverty rate! 43 million americans live under the poverty rate in the worlds richest country. Yeah, that's GREAT!

Now "great" is extremely subjective. But 'the american dream' is long gone and is all but a hoax nowadays.

The US is a great country.

It's impossible to say the opposite.
No. It isn't.
