I am really trying to figure out what Sanders' endgame really is here.

He's not really a democrat. He's an independent.

Why not run as an independent candidate. You have an incredible amount of support. Enough support to possibly beat the other two in a general election. He should have realized a month ago that he had no chance, and just went as an independent. The way that his supporters throw money at the TV, he would have had enough to fund a campaign.

But now, all he is doing is trying to kick a hornets nest.

He blew his chance by not getting out and running independently a couple of months ago, but now it is too late.

And @Hustini here is another irony.

Hear me out.

It costs hundreds of millions of dollars to run a general election campaign.

If Sanders had won the Democratic nomination, who do you think would foot the bill for his campaign?

Can you say the Democratic party?

I doubt he even knows what his endgame is

oh and the deadline for registering as an independent for the general election has already passed in some of the states, with some approaching very quickly. Sanders won't win a general election if only because of this. but he sure can crash Hillary's party if he wants.

Yep, not really that surprising imo, he doesn't care about the party (why should he), only about moving the spotlights ot the issues he thinks are most important. Yet he also emphasizes how important it is that Trump is gonna lose - because let's face it, with a President Trump those issues don't have the best of chances.

A Trump presidency might hurt the USA, but it won't be the apocalypse. It's a bit annoying that European media are trying to portray it as such. The USA is still a democratic states and democratic states have built in safety mechanisms against crazy dictators. And besides, no one knows what Trump truly believes. He's just spouting nonsense. Who knows what he'll do as president.

It would still be pretty desastrous.

The psychopath is probably the safer choice.
I don't know, both are pretty horrible.

It's disconcerting that Hillary Clinton is the best the American oligarchy can offer. They probably chose her because of her innumerable scandals and corruptions, which will make her completely subservient to their interests, as she has been her whole career.

Trump is more unpredictable.
