I mean a lot of his critique is not applicable to modern capitalism (how could it be, keeping in mind that the economic system looked very different back then - you wouldn't take Smith's and Ricardo's works and apply them one-for-one to modern capitalism either), but there is a lot of very valid criticism in his thoughts, in fact, I'd argue that most of his effort actually went into a criticism of capitalism rather than developing communism. The Capital for example is little more than an analysis and critique of capitalism.

Rand Paul is playing the political game to stand a chance. Of course, if he comes out and states he would cut funding to Israel, he wouldn't be elected. Moreover, he did not reference providing arms support to Israel, which is a good thing as well. So basically this video was a hedge against uproar from the traitor's lobby while still advocating cutting off foreign aid. I highly doubt Rand is a true supporter of those folks.

The college I went to had a VERY large Jewish population, as it was in a Jewish neighborhood. A swastika was found drawn on one of that bathroom stalls. Now this is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable on every level, and the President of the college publicly issues an apology. Fine.

Then a few months later, a staff member at the college invites Pamela Geller to speak at the fucking school. She posts students personal info on her website (http://pamelageller.com/2015/04/the-brooklyn-zoo.html/), and not a word from the college is spoken other than "we must accept free speech" or something like that. And yeah, I'd be fine with that, had you not previously denied Students for Justice in Palestine from bringing speakers in to talk about the apartheid and denied them funding. And you could feel the tension between the Jewish and Muslim students on the campus, those poor Jewish students get brainwashed by their parents. You could tell too, because if you talk to some of them about it for a little while and explain it, they start to realize they might not have been taught 100% correct things. For 4 goddamn years I had to deal with that hypocritical bullshit, it makes me so fucking angry.
