All I’ve ever asked, and this is coming from a guy that’s a conservative, is that you don’t have to agree with me, just don’t take personal shots. Debate me on any issue, I’m happy to take part in discourse as long as it’s actually productive. I feel like I’ve always been honest with everyone here, if I wasn’t, no one would know where I stand on anything.

Ive been on the forum for 15 years. I’ve always asked the mods to keep discourse civil and when I was out of line in the past I’ve been given my fair share of infractions. Ze Tahir gave me my first, X gave me the last. I have spent a long time away from this thread because as soon as I show my head it’s like a feeding frenzy. I have people mention me all the time trying to prod me. I’ve been pretty consistent and diplomatic as I can. I’ve had people apologize and I’ve done the same. I’m literally the last person on this forum to raise a finger in anger. To cancel anyone isn’t my goal and I’m very surprised to be lumped into that by someone who usually takes the high road.

And I’m set on guns. Appreciate the advice.

Are you crazy? Back in the old country I was raised to take care of my problems myself since the authorities were corrupt so this is why I rather make use of ignore list before running to coppers. Besides, the commie gang in here can't be perceived as a threat to my intellectual grandeur, reporting them would be like reporting ants for being ants. Utterly pointless

unfortunately a large amount of people are still not appropriately aware of how aggressive and brainless the collective mob can be.

They have faith in the reason and good nature of it :lol3:

Was it you Andy? If it was you this is for you (and obviously if it wasn't you then my apologies, disregard what I say). We are the same age and joined Juventuz around the same time. I can make a list of Juventuz members you have bullied and trolled ever since you have been a member here. I would have spoken up more if my English had been better at that time but it wasn't so I had a lot of blabla moments and complaints to the mods (Greg knows). I was also only 22-23 and very silly. Over a decade later, you have run to a mod to cry about what exactly? When were you bullied and how? Finally, there is nothing that redeems Him. His mind stinks. There is not a single positive human characteristic in Him. He doesn't care about you or the country. Don't take the things that are being said about Him personally because I'm positive you are better than Him. Also, you should leave the thread if what people say bother you. I do it all the time. It's always better to cancel ourselves before asking for others to be canceled.

I hope it wasn't you Hustini because it takes an unimaginable level of hypocrisy to cry to a mod and then write the things you wrote in the last few pages about cancel culture. Can't be you.

Whoever it was, I feel embarrassed for you. Definitely buy more guns to protect that incredibly thin skin.
Are you trying to Juventuz Dox the poster who reported someone? :shocked2:

No, it wasn't me. I don't even recall reporting acmilan after his recent tirades against me. But it's clear there is a lot of abuse in this thread directed towards posters that don't share the common beliefs regarding Trump. It's very similar to real life where if you engage someone in similar debates, it usually degrades into someone being judged on a personal level. I typically stray away from discussing politics in real life, so it would be nice to come to a place where you don't have to be subjected to the same nonsense. For me, my main interests involve economics and finance anyway, and I wish it didn't even have to involve politics.

I've tried my best to keep it civil in this thread, but it's seemingly difficult to do that.

Just to be sure I understand you fully, first disclaimer: I'M NOT TRYING to BULLY YOU. You saying you voting for Trump, specifically BECAUSE Biden is the racist one? Is this correct?
That's what the post said, yes.

I don't actually believe Biden is a racist though. I think that his quote was racist and the general aura of the Democratic party is based on subliminal racism. Just my opinion, I know nobody here will agree.

His job literally was to elect more democrats. It’s there on his Twitter bio. People have lost their heads.
There isn't a human being, who has lived any substantive amount of their life, who couldn't be canceled by that mob for one reason or another. It has all the worst aspects of the same religions it views as outdated but lacks the self awareness to recognize it.

No need to explain yourself if it wasn't you. My advice was also for you only if it was you who went to cry to a mod. And yes, complaining to a mod about being bullied while at the same time mocking the cancel culture is very hypocritical. One doesn't complain to a mod to just let his frustration out, one does that to ask for intervention so who he regards as bullies would stop, get warnings and infractions, or you know, get thread banned.

I complain to Mark all the time. Literally, all the time. Like I said, I've been around long enough to meet some of the people here. I've meet Ze & Greg and I would like to think I can go to any of them on how to handle a situation. If I need your advice, Hoori, I'll ask for it.

And no asking for mods to tell someone to backoff of personal attacks is not cancel culture, it's keeping discourse civil. If the mod decides to ban someone then take that issue with the mod, not the person asking for civil discourse.

When we choose to be a part of a conversation where people have such opposing views we accept that some of the things we strongly believe in will be attacked or made fun of. If this ever gets to a point that's unbearable, you stop engaging until you are mature enough to not let your shaken beliefs get the better of you. NOT an advice, just my personal experience.

I'd really like to know which posts were not civil in the past week (I'm not being sarcastic, genuinely wondering). The only borderline troll I've felt we have here is igortudor.

Nothing at all recently has been an issue. It's been a long time since I've had any issues in the thread, but that's because I basically stopped posting here and avoided it, which is why I hardly ever come to this thread...besides, anyone I have an issue with is on my ignore list.

You and I basically don't agree on anything politically speaking. Have I ever been rude, uncivil or attacked your beliefs?

Never but this is not reciprocal; that because you haven't attacked anyone's beliefs no one will attack yours (and our understanding of what means rude, uncivil or offensive may differ too). But of course my beliefs have been attacked and I know I have stopped browsing this or other threads because of that.

I don't mind being challenged at all. There is a clear difference between challenging and attacking IMO.

While we’re talking cancel culture I think troll culture is similar in many ways. It adds nothing to the conversation, and silences serious voices. Conservatives use this tactic a lot from what I’ve seen. This is junior senator from Texas. His Twitter feed is full of wisecracking bullshit like this.

Dude, you call half the people on the left “scum” and “leechfucks” and say some should be shot. And hardly a one of us says a thing about it. Fuck, half of us “lefties” agree with you about the SJWs and Woke loonies way out on the left most of the time. You get harassed about your Trump supporting mostly and the fact you run to his Defense with a “but the leftist democrats and media did this...” anytime someone criticizes Trump. But you in turn go after anyone on the left quite frequently. So hard to imagine why you of all people would talking about abuse towards Trump supporters.

I guess though that it’s okay to call people scum and leech fucks if you dislike their perspective? As long as they are on the left?

Seems rather ironic. You seem to think we should have sympathy and understanding for ignorant lower class white bigots and xenophobes, because they have been pushed to this by what? Evil leftist extremists leaving them no choice? Who we should of course have no sympathy for because they are scummy leech fucks?

Anyways... If you don’t want to engage, or some people (not you) think you are being bullied, let’s just not. I won’t respond to your posts here anymore and you can stop responding to mine. It’s not really a big deal.
