The former is win win for him, because he just claims media is out to get him despite the buffoonry and lies and some voters will just eat that up and be cool with it. Easier tactic then to actually explain your train of thought and how you want to improve the country. When that happens, actually being asked about your politics in serious depth, like in the last debate, him and the rest of his collegues just go kindergarden on the country and cry about getting said questions? Its really bewildering how little standards are expected of actual politicians now, when crying about getting political questions is ok now.

My mom is good friends with one of his former scrub nurses, he's said that Dr Carson is wonderful man, great surgeon, but pretty much unaware of anything else in the world. He's a giant space cadet in most things not brain surgery. Which is probably what you want from your brain surgeon should you need him. But unfortunately brain surgery is not what we should look for from a President.
