Not necessarily. Apparently there are patriot missile systems set up around Iraq, so it could be that Iran's missiles were shot down before reaching their target. That's also very important, because if so, I'm sure it wouldn't have been a surprise to the Iranians. But why launch if they knew they would be shot down? The Iranians aren't that stupid. None of this makes any sense.
Looking at the whole picture, nothing about this made sense in the beginning, and it probably won't in the future either. This whole situation is one colossal fuckup after the other.

Welcome to the shit show, everyone.

I think Trump has two choices now.

1) Take the missile strike as the expected response from Iran and move towards deescalation. Address the nation as such. If Iran attacks afterwards, then he would have more reason and support for retaliation.
2) Respond with force, albeit tit for tat.

The worst thing he could do at this point would be sending in B52 bombers, which he would have little support for, and the markets will punish him. To me, it would be a guaranteed re-election loss for him as the public is over the endless wars, especially under these sort of pretenses.

It hasn't made sense for the last 20 years. Hell, make it 40.

I don't think Trump is the type of guy to back off. Hopefully the desire to win reelection overcomes the massive and fragile ego.

Iranian Foreign Minister stating that they do not seek escalation or war is a good sign after all the harsher rhetoric of the last couple days. Hopefully Trump doesn’t go full retard tomorrow. If no Americans died, obviously it’s time to back down.

You know Iranians under 50 did not choose their destiny. Americans did and chose to give immense power to an unstable egomaniac.
You guys really can't be that naive to think the US would intentionally attack cultural sites, right? I mean, most of you strike me as somewhat reasonable most of the time but on this culture site issue you guys really are going full MSNBC on it.

I've seen the infamous "52" list, its actually much larger and none of it is what you think.
