Libertarians are just as dumb as mainstream conservatives when it comes to economic policy imo.
What's so outrageous in thinking that government intervention into markets is inefficient? Have you ever worked in government or for a government contractor? The only reason why Loudon, Fairfax, and Alexandria counties in Northern Virginia are the richest counties in the nation are because everyone has no-bid contracts for government work that creates no value at all. I know folks in military contracting that do nothing but maintain servers all day for outrageous amounts of money. You think that's a good use of taxpayer dollars?

You don't need to worry. I know you're not an idiot and I know you're starting to realise that maybe Trump was a very bad choice, but I also know that you try to weasel your way out of things. In two years time you'll say you never backed Trump. That's what I want to avoid. Take some responsibility this time.

I do need to worry, because you're being a stalker and that's not cool, bruh.

So you think corporations have the best interests of the world in mind? That’s incredibly naive or incredibly dumb.

The UN slamming Trump's presidency on extreme poverty and inequality.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/jun/01/us-inequality-donald-trump-cruel-measures-un

Philip Alston, the UN special rapporteur who acts as a watchdog on extreme poverty around the world, has issued a withering critique of the state of America today. Trump is steering the country towards a “dramatic change of direction” that is rewarding the rich and punishing the poor by blocking access even to the most meager necessities.

“This is a systematic attack on America’s welfare program that is undermining the social safety net for those who can’t cope on their own. Once you start removing any sense of government commitment, you quickly move into cruelty,” Alston told the Guardian.

Millions of Americans already struggling to make ends meet faced “ruination”, he warned. “If food stamps and access to Medicaid are removed, and housing subsidies cut, then the effect on people living on the margins will be drastic.”

Asked to define “ruination”, Alston said: “Severe deprivation of food and almost no access to healthcare.”
The UN rapporteur identifies a slew of what he calls “aggressively regressive” policies coming out of the Trump administration that are sending the country “full steam ahead” towards greater inequality. In addition to the tax breaks, there are new work requirements for welfare recipients, cuts of up to a third in the food stamp program, a recent proposal from housing secretary Ben Carson to triple the base rent for federally subsidized housing, and a burning of government regulations that offered protections to middle-class and poor families.

“This is an across the board attack on those who are living on the poverty line or below it,” Alston said.
But those right-wing trickle down economics really work. I swear it on me mum. Tax cuts for the rich help the impoverished most. :seven:

And to pay for those tax cuts, why not cut welfare and social programs, slash medicaid, housing subsidies, food stamps. This will definitely, 100% help those welfare bums get off their lazy asses and get jobs. American dream baby! :weee:

Incredible. I can't for the life of me understand why you'd think it'd be a good idea to post. Just be quiet and hope that in five years time no one remembers your idiocy, dude.

My idiocy is paying off for me, which is the whole point. I'm making bank because of Trump, and what I thought would occur is coming to fruition. Regulations in my industry are being curtailed massively, my investments are doing very well, and none of the allegations against the guy have come true either (which is because they were unfounded to begin with, like the Russia stuff). I must say, I'm very pleased.

But... good luck to you and your EU. I wish you the best. :howler:

Is it really? How many people have corporations killed compared to governments? Can you find the figures for me?

And Andries, RE: your signature -- :D Obama couldn't even hold a candle to how Trump is handling the Korean peninsula. He's done a god job, but the media won't tell you that. Even Obama couldn't make any headway there.

By default, Trump should win the Nobel Prize already if Obama's is legitimate.

Of course you'd benefit. Like I said, you're always the first to report for concentration camp duty.

My EU is just fine btw, I don't get why you think it's not. Never been richer, never been more stable. We don't let our countries run by people who could gamble everything because they read a nasty tweet or Sean Hannity tells them to.

We are also not the enemy. But I see that the Donald has had massive success in creating this us v them attitude. You'd have to be an idiot to go along with it, but here we are.

As for North Korea.. They are playing Trump like a fool.

Finally I just want to say I think it is very endearing how you believe there is one 'Nobel Prize'.

It is both and also incredibly ignorant. But I have reached to the conclusion that this is the thinking of every self-centered egomaniac who will also find justification for every bad thing whenever there is a short term profit to be made.
In the end the poor and the environment will be left the most damaged after this Republican idiocracy. As it happens every time when the anti-abortion, anti-science, pro-corporatism, pro-lunacy gang is in charge.
