I know that, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary (most of which can be found here https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump), @Bjerknes still believes Donald Trump is a great man and president and will make 'Murica great again.

But here's an interesting thought: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...es-after-trumps-first-foreign-trip/102292048/

Europeans disagree. The US already was losing much of its global influence and it most definitely isn't the superpower it used to be. But Trump's behaviour on the trip was nothing short of a disaster. He came to Europe as a typical obese ignorant American tourist with no feeling for local customs or sensitivities and tried to strong-arm his way through negotiations. After this failed he gave up on talking altogether it seems.

That Merkel is actually literally saying that we should distance ourselves from the US.. Wow.

Given the fact that the US-Europe relationship has been an extremely important for both sides, it's going to be interesting to see which effect it has on the world.
and his foreign minister went even further:

"Anyone who accelerates climate change by weakening environmental protection, who sells more weapons in conflict zones and who does not want to politically resolve religious conflicts is putting peace in Europe at risk," Gabriel said.
Those who do not oppose this US policy are guilty.
way to go, trump :baus: putin can fap to this.

Andy said like zillion times that he doesn't care what happens outside of the US, so I don't think that this matters at all to him or any other people that voted trump. The thing is that US and Europe need each other, and these things will not go down good to any side in the long run.

In fact I think nothing matters to people that voted trump. Some of them would not do anything even if Trump literally came to their houses and raped their wife and children. I have no idea what massive fuck up it would take for these people to see what trump really is.

Even like this it just baffles me american culture and attitude, how the heck they can't see this man is a sick mental case. And not an innocent one but a spoiled brat that has no moral compass at all. Just a mentally retarded evil monkey.

The entire reason the US is as wealthy as it is is international politics. Andy's isolationist attitude really can't be justified.

i read from some local pro-trump guys that for them, trump is the epitome of the successful white man. and as such, he can do whatever he wants, it's already justified by the fact that he's white, successful and male. also, hillary would have been much-much-much worse anyway. hillary lied about those e-mails, so trump can lie as much as he wants. hillary is old and ugly, men grow old with more dignity. alex jones exposed hillary, (see pizzagate), trump is not that evil anyway. trump is rich af, so he won't need more money, he works entirely for the country. etc

Merkel already told everyone what they should do. And it's the only option really. Don't look at the US anymore. It's no longer relevant. Trump (or tbh the GOP) has made it irrelevant, because it has become completely unstable.

He's a fucking moron and a psychiatric case.
Your hero, @Bjerknes :touched:

US is very relavant, just that it is fucked up with that bafoon in charge. Europe needs US. US needs Europe. Still sometimes it's hard to believe that he's the president :D

Every country is relevant to some degree. And the US and Europe will still hold friendly relationships for a very long time to come. But America's guiding role in all of this is most definitely over.

I still think America is top dog, military might alone gives them that. But they are being looked by everyone upon as a joke right now.

It was so predictable this would happen
Tbh I think a big part of it is safety and security of classified information. Because Trump tweets about every meeting he has, you can't really tell him anything. I don't think any European leader is going to be willing to sit down and discuss sensitive issues with Trump at this point.

So just the old buildings then?
We're not particularly famous for old buildings either. But I like your lack of knowledge. I see that the Lëader has taught you well.

What's relevant about Belgium?
Entire EU member lists and their nations all have parties (in various signficant or insignificant sizes) in their elections who's EXPLICIT goal and slogans are to preach to get fuck out of EU so we can govern ourselves instead being governed from out of Belgium.

Years ago even voted even voted in a referendum with explicit anti-Belgium (ok not the nation, but Brussels hehe) campaign pamphlets lol.

And I can see why, too. But the problem is that if you place the institutions in France, Germany is going to complain. If you put them in Germany, France is going to complain. If you put them in Italy, everyone is going to complain. And so on.
