Hasn't California had water and fire issues for many years?

I also imagine that Trump knows next to nothing about ecology and its impact, but I'd be sure that he'd be one of those people who would shit all over anything he needed. Guy will be dead in a few years, after all.

I don't take anything Joe Rogan, the fake President, or the real President Musk have to say seriously on basically any topic, especially science.

New stream happening now. Palisades fire is up to 12,000 acres with ZERO percent containment. Eaton fire is 10,000 acres with ZERO percent containment. Winds have subsided a bit but still 30-40 mph in some spots.

He seems well informed on this particular topic, especially in the light of today. There are some screenshots under the video going back years.

I can’t fully judge it as I don’t know the water situation there but it sounds rational from the side line.

California’s been in a drought for a minute. But all the water in the world wouldn’t matter with the way this fire is moving. 90 mile per hour winds are something you really can’t do much about. Best was to stop this fire would be prevention or getting lucky and catching it at the initial stages.

The X pundits keep talking about reservoirs and controlled burns. How do you do a controlled burn in a residential neighborhood?

There's been a lot of talk on California focusing on fire suppression instead of prevention for decades, meaning they did not allow any controlled burns. This has increased the fuel that wildfire needs tremendously and it's not easy to undo it.

Left: The reason is climate change
Right: Poor forest management is the culprit

Both are probably right. More fuel for the fires mean climate change induced wildfires are much deadlier.

Poor forest management doesn’t prevent 100mph Santa Ana winds.

We did them near neighborhoods in Maryland pretty frequently.

There’s absolutely zero chance of doing a controlled burn near the Palisades. Too much wealth and power.

I can’t wait until Trump is in office so people can blame him for every single thing that happens in this country. And when I say every single thing, I mean literally everything. A dude can be walking down the street and slip on a banana peel. He’s a DEI hire for stupid white people.
