I understand your point.
We all want to protect our children. And frankly I too am fed up with men using pride parades as a pretext for going out in thongs or other indecent clothing. What should be a parade for civil rights often degenerates into a weird sexually driven event. I understand there are reasons for these pride parades, but if they want to be taken seriously maybe this is not the way to go.
Seeing as we all want to instill the right values in our children how do you reconcile that with voting for a man who:
- forcibly and nonconsensually penetrated a woman's vagina with his fingers (which, just to be clear, would be defined as rape if it occurred today);
- is accused by no less than 26 women of sexual assault;
- committed adultery by having sex with a pornstar?

I'd say the elephant in the room is actually the U.S. national debt. And both the Democrats and Republicans are completely neglecting their duties to discuss it, let alone address it.

What gets lost among all the "pride" sparkles and hate is that it's really not about wearing a pink tutu and tonguing your plumber's anus, nor is it about drag queens trying to groom you to the other side by drinking their beer.
Pride is basically about people who come to a family Thanksgiving dinner and have their brother or cousin hide their children from them over something intrinsic to who they are and didn't choose to be. The pride part is in accepting yourself despite others who refuse your existence. But none of that gets mentioned in the rainbow food fight where the radicals on either end try to provoke the worst caricatures of each other.
It's a bit proselytizing to tell someone else that their blue hair and gay buttseks is immoral and all gays are child molesters while you're making lewd comments about your underage daughter, joining the Epstein frequent fliers club, and nodding your head to Putin policies. And it's a bit proselytizing to provoke someone over their religious beliefs as ignorant and wrong when the only thing you believe in are poppers, gloryholes, and gay polyamory with any animal species that looks remotely human.
I'm not convinced that children being exposed to even the existence of gay people in the world is somehow the equivalent of giving them fentanyl. If anything, those types remind me of the kids who grew up in overprotective, teetotaling households and became the biggest alcoholics and drug addicts when they went away to college.
Look at how kids today are growing up responding to their social enfeeblement and parental helicoptering from any potential harms? It's a complete fail and has nothing to do with grooming. Parents have become control freaks, and kids riding bikes in front yards getting DPS calls because parents are expected to be control freaks is part of the problem.
That doesn't mean a drag queen reading to kids is gonna make them love anal. But also a lot of really confused and f*cked up people who need to get their own mental health lives sorted have no business trying to publicly work through that with a captive audience of children either.
