Well at what point do you draw the line? When does human life begin? You can sit there and belittle the unborn as simply "just embryos" but this is the problem when abortion is deemed 'acceptable' up to certain dates. It's so arbitrary. What rights does a unborn kid have, say, one day after exactly 6 weeks as opposed to the day before (i.e. when the law permits an abortion can take place), and why? These are valid philosophical questions which the pro-abortion side never address. In my view, you should either be in favor of abortion up to and including birth or just not support the practice at all. I prefer the latter (unless the mother's life is at risk)
But it is beyond retarded to equate aborting an embryo at 6-10 weeks with aborting a foetus at 20 weeks, let alone a 32 week abortion of a baby that can easily survive outside the womb. And it is incredibly disingenuous to do so. There’s a reason the anti-abortion movement doesn’t ever talk about embryonic abortions but instead goes for shock value with late stage abortion info to try to win people to their cause. Because embryonic abortion isn’t an issue for majority of people who aren’t religious weenies.
But sure, let’s ban all abortions, create more unwanted children, and go for more overpopulation issues in this already massively overpopulated world. Good plan.
