Zlatan is the best all around player among the forwards. But still he doesnt show he is a good forward. Score geddamnit.

we need another potent goalscorer to partner Zlatan whenever he plays. The only thing he good so far is doing first time direct assists..

although to be fair he done a lot of those assist. The more useful statistic for a forward is goals+assist/minute......

I also don't like Trezeguet. He is a superb finisher, but he is also lazy and always injured. But he should be respected for all the goals he scored, just remember his reaction speed with the Juventus - Djurgarden goal (1st leg).

i am not so sure about Trez's supposed lazyness...he is playing by his and the team's strength. Be it by not moving around to much. His potential sudden goal is his 'workrate'.... it is frustrating though everytime a dependable player got injured.. but his last operation suppose to fix the shoulder for good.

It' also a bit hard to judge him for reasons he can't help...but we are quite dependant of him as Del Piero and Ibrahimovic are hardly famous for their stackloads of goals. Mutu scored 21 or something in 2002/2003 so that will partially solve this.

yeah..i am bit frustrated about that fact as well... if we can find someone who can be dependable to score to partner him, maybe Trez can move around more freely like he does with France. As the things stand, he is the only point of attack we have. Mutu did have a credible goal scored that season. At least we have a thing to look forward to..

Read an article using La Gazzetta dello Sport as source.
Ibra has 3 assist with his name on it in Serie A according them...

I haven't missed a single minute of any JUVE match this year...
However my memmory fails to serve me if this is accurate, and it becomes
even more difficult since the Zlatan camp here has their IBRA assist count somewhere near 9-10!

hes only got 3 assisits? haha, and all those zlatan fans are going around like hes setting up all our goals, i bet DP prob got near that amount, plus hes got nearly as many oals as zlatan and hes played less than half the time zlatan as

Is it just me or is DP contributing more in the time hes on the pitch than zlatan is?

forza zalayeta - hes shud be our first choice striker:D

AFAIK Zlatan has four assists in the league, not sure about the CL. In Serie A DP has 7 goals and 3 assists in 849 minutes while Ibrahimovic has scored 10 times and set up 4 goals in over 2100 minutes, so according to stats Del Piero contributes more per minutes played.

means Zlatan gets an assist or goal every 150 mins
and DP does the same every 84.9 mins.

that means zlatan contributes nearly once every 2 games, interesting

It depends how you count. If you count after what was meant as a pass and ended up as a goal he only got three. In Sweden we also count shots etc that has ended up by tap ins, then he got like 10. In that case he got an 0.8 ratio.

does this includes number of penalties taken?

As far as i know, Zlatan took one penalty (against Inter).

How about DP?

take out the goals scored from the penalty and re-work the ratios. That would give you little bit clearer picture....
