MS Word Problem (1 Viewer)

Anyone uses Microsoft Equation Editor and encounters that annoying problem of Word changing the characters you put in to other crap? If so and you know how to fix this, please help me.......it's driving me nuts.:fero:

how long have you used OOo?

what's your opinion about it?

For the moment I still think Ms Office is better, at least Word is better than OO Writer. It's more intuitive and I get my stuff done quicker. I was writing a paper a few weeks ago and I tried both of them and realized Word was more efficient. Not a big difference maybe but it's there, here's an article on the issue where the guy compares Writer to Word97, which is not far off:

i use WPS and MS Word...but i don't have any problem
