Anyway Martin I think the thing about Memento is that there aer no definite answers to the questions everyone ask about it. But I'll give you my opinion:
Was there a Sammy or did he make him up?
Some would say that he is in fact sammy himself and he killed his wife with too much insulin
How did his wife die?
The 2 guys beat her up or shot her. Remember when Lenny had flash backs, his wife was in the transparent body bag thing
How did he get the memory disorder?
When Lenny ran into the bathroom while his wife was in the bag, he shot one guy dead, and another guy came from behind and smashed lenny-head first into the mirror hence the memory disorder
Who was Teddy?
Teddy's mission in the film was to take advantage of lenny's problem. At the real start he sets up lenny to kill the wrong guy so he can steal the money from the boot of the drug dealer's car. That's teddy's fixation throughout the film. Everyone thinks that lenny found his wife's killer in Teddy. This is not true Lenny makes the story up for himself, he manipulates his own illness.
