It had a very strong effect on me- I got out of the cinema and raced with anybody who would do it.

It was beyond my control.

The movie by itself sucked though.

Seems like a black man can't get a legitimate acting role in Hollywood anymore unless he's some hip hop/rapper wannabe-movie-star with a name that sounds like some kind of trademarked breath freshener additive for chewing gum.

The last movie I saw was "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", on X-mas Eve. And, I played the Drinking Game that goes along with it. You know the one, every time the Grinch says "Who", you have to drink.

The last movie I have seen was The Village, and I am still under its influence. Its idea seems wonderful to me, and very interesting. I'd like to think that something similar is actually happening these days.

On the other side, the movie is indeed more than scary ...
