    they say so.. :undecide:
I just had to know that, so I made a little research: it was based on the true story, but taken from 50's: there was some guy, who was such killer: he was making things to his house out of people's skin and bones :dazed:

I didnt see the original version of "the chainsaw massacre", it's called a classy horror movie, one of the best in history, I'm tempted to see it now.

knowing that it's really based on a true story makes it even scarier..

speaking of classic horror movies, there will be a remake of the best horror movie ever.. "The Evil Dead".. :scared:

anyone seen it..?? the original one offcourse, not the remake??

I finally saw The Filth & The Fury recently. A 2000 documentary on the Sex Pistols brief, but storied, career ... from their Al Qaeda-like status in England, to all the cads in the Bromley Contingent, to their last, fateful tour in America. (San Francisco must be the place where seminal British bands go to die ... with final live performances here by the Pistols, the Beatles, etc.)

A decent flick if you're unfamiliar with how outraged the UK was about them (and given time and history, you have to ask why they made such an immense fuss back then), how punk rock went from an independent DIY ethic to a conformist fashion uniform of mohawks and leather jackets, and the roots of the likes of Souixsie Souix, Billy Idol, Shane MacGowan, Sting, Richard Branson, etc. And of course... the music.

If you're moderately into the Pistols: definitely see. Otherwise, it's still moderately interesting.

I saw two great episodes of the "Seconds from Disaster" series on National Geographic.

One was about the Concorde crash in 2000, and the second was on how the 3rd place hit the Pentagon on 9/11.
