The Riddler has to be there.He's one of Batman's most most prominent villians.My guess is that it will be The Riddler and Penguin.Bane isnt as prominent as The Riddler or Penguin.

It's not about just the villains being prominent, it's about the way Nolan's been taking the films. Nolan has made the Batman films very dark, with the villains being psychotic killers, not cheesy figures. So consider that factor. someone like Zsaz, bane or Hush would fit in more with the theme of the 3rd movie. than a dude who's gimmick is based on leaving riddles behind his crimes.

bane should be utilised later if they ever do the story of batman getting snapped in two and handing over the mantle,great story. though somehow i think hollywood excecs would veto a superhero having his back broken

Yeah, but consider how dark The dark knight was. Bane seems like a perfect villain for the 3rd movie. Him breaking batman's spine fits with the whole psychotic evil villains that the Nolan movies has been introducing

The Riddler would fit pretty spectacularly in a dark theme IMO.The Penguin is already dark,but a revamped Dark Riddler would be immense.But the Riddler does end up being similar to The Joker in a manner,which might be one of the reasons why the character wouldnt be in the 3rd movie..IF Nolan will make a 3rd Batman movie ie.I havent read or heard anything along those lines yet.

the dark knight, need i say more? movie was excellent and heath ledger outdid himself, sheer brilliance.

on the topic of villains - my fav has always been penguin though.

and as for aaron eckhart - him as two face wouldnt bring much IMO. but great movie nontheless

bane would be a great idea but i agree that no one will be voting for batman getting broke in half. i personally think the riddler is the gayest villain ever.

The Riddler and Bane would be too far in the direction of cheesiness like the last series. The Penguin has already been done, but could be done again. Nolan will probably just stick with the darker villains.

As for those of you that question whether a third one will be made, after clearing 155 opening weekend and smashing Spiderman out of the water, I believe the question is "Will there be a 4th one?".

There was no question in my mind that a 3rd one was going to be made. Nolan said in the start when he took the helm that his Batman movies will be a trilogy.

I SO fucking hope that there is no Robin in the next movie.That would suck,BIG TIME.I thought DeVito's performance as Penguin was great in Batman Returns.The Penguin's character should make it to the 3rd movie IMO..with The Riddler hopefully.Id love it if Johnny Depp played the Riddler.

Anyway,i jsut watched The Crow.Loved it.The rock start angle was somewhat cheesy,but other than that it was great fun.

Well he was great in it. That shooting scene on the table in the end...freaking amazing, realistic as hell.
