fair enough, i always believe that connery's bond is truer to flemmings view on what bond is, forget his return to the "franchise" watch the early film for a true feeling on this
Well perhaps that's the difference. I haven't read Fleming. But the thing is that people always adopt this attitude that the book is right and however the movie deviates from it is wrong. Knowing Bond only from the screen I think the Bond I like (through Moore and lately Brosnan) is a cool character and I wouldn't want him "flawed" for the sake of following the books more closely.

You say that as if I said "well it sucks to have serial killers on the streets" and you would stick that line no matter what the statement was. :D Like it was so bad that a bucket of rotten eggs would be improve it.

No, not to me.

nah i just feel that the connery character had more depth to it,roger moore simply raised an eyebrow at everything...
bad guy running at you?raise an eyebrow
bullet hurtling towards you?raise an eyebrow
naked lady?well of course raise an eyebrow

Can anyone recommend anything in theaters that is absolutely spectacular? I got this movie card for my birthday, so I'm trying to use it sometime.

Godfather 3 isnt that bad a movie.I think people just have a hard time accepting Andy Garcia as the new Don.Plus the success of Godfather 1 and 2 would mean that anything slightly inferior would be called totally pathetic.IMO its a decent movie, and has a pretty logical end.I for one, felt bad when Michael dies.

It's hard to follow the 1st one, then they make the 2nd. There is nowhere else to go after that.
