If there's one movie genre I really dislike, it's musicals. Which is strange because I love movies and even more than them, I love music. Oh well...I dislike 99% of musicals and Sweeney Todd is no exception. What a boring, piece of crap. Even Johnny Depp couldn't make it worth watching but somehow I managed to get to the end. Awfull movie.

And Tim Burton, why the hell is that guy not locked up? Why is everything he makes a work of art instead of just plain old weird? He's obviously demented. I don't mind gore, blood or horrors, but his movies are (usually) sick.

Batman Beyond,Return Of The Joker.

This is the first cartoon movie that ive seen in a long LONG time. And i really enjoyed it.Sure, its not like the movies, but it was really fun to watch. The different take on Batman,The Joker's Rebirth,Robin's guilt etc,it all made for an extremley good 80 odd minutes.I hate Mark Hamill, but i thought he did a splendid job voicing The Joker.

Do any of you watch foreign movies? Like Persian, Swedish, Italian or even Russian? Hollywood is so overrated; there's nothing better than a calm and non-cgi'd (you get the point :D ) movie.
Oh man, I loooove the Italian and French neo-realistic movies , especially comedies. I liked Adriano Celentano's comedies :D

it was her movie mate, based on her stand-up routine. she was teh mivie and it would not have beena nywhere near as charming without her

So i've been at my mates flat in Bristol for 6 days, and including the film on the plane i've seen about 10 films :D

Night at the Musuem
- Ok, gets boring when you see it for the third time. Dum-Dum you got Gum Gum?

Wild Hogs- Great Film, thought it would suck, but was quite wicked

Jackass 2- no words could explain it more than that :D

The Motorcycle Diaries- I really like this film, about Ernesto Che Guerava

The Bucket List- Quite a touching film, quite nice to watch

Rambo I: First Blood- Its ok, was expecting more from the Rambo trilogy, hopefully the 4th one which is coming out this year is better

Rambo II: First Blood II- A bit better than the first one, still nothing special.

Rambo III- Missed half the film as i fell asleep, this one seemed like it had a bit of potential, but Stallone's voice tires me out, have to concentrate too much to understand :D
To say the truth, considering these films were produced/released between 1982 and 1988, it isn't that bad, just not what i'm used to.

A good year- Not a bad film, not my type of film, but had nothing else to do. Had a good story line. Russell Crowe can play any part

Of course, got any recommendations?
There are so many, and it depends on what type of genre's you're into. But knowing you, I'm sure you'll watch anything worthy :D

Here are two classics:

Pelle The Conqueror (Pelle erövraren)

My Life As A Dog (Mitt liv som hund)

Then there are some new ones:

Insomnia (not the American one, but the original; from Norway)

Evil (Ondskan)

Then there's the Russian movie which I loved (the movie and it's sequel). It's full of cgi and stuff though, but good movies nonetheless.

Nochnoy Dozor

Dnevnoy dozor

These are just off the top of my head. Let me know if you want more.

ps: I don't really know any names of Persian movies, I just know that they're awesome because growing up I had lots of Irani friends. Perhaps an Irani member can give you some titles.

Never seen it and I don't think I ever will.

The only musicals I like are The Wizzard Of Oz, The Wizzard Of Oz synced Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon, Hair and Tommy. :D
