Yeah its really good though. You get past the fact of the singing it has so much dry humor in the movie plus it talks about all the racism from that era and takes a stand against it. I loved it.

That movie is the only hyped-up Pacino flick which I didn't like. His performance is great but I thoght the movie was boring as hell. Serpico is much better IMO.

That's a tough one...though I'd have to go with Braveheart because of it's more interesting story line and the humour it has over Gladiator.

Both films had a great soundtrack and a horrible ending,
maybe The Gladiator had the better cast, but the Braveheart had Gibson,
i d choose The Gladiator.

It is pretty slow.When i first got it the DVD cover said ' Bitingly Funny',and i was all exicted about seeing Pacino in a comic role.So not having the amount of humour i expected did leave me dissapointed somewhat.Mulvaney's such a wuss.I wish real bank managers were that way too

I don't mind that, I really enjoy slow and hard to watch movies, but this one was just not interesting to me. Perhaps it's because I had such high expectations but still, Pacino rarely disapointed me.

Actually Taxi-Driver is the biggest disapointment for me, Dog Day is a close second. Another great performance but a boring movie IMO. I really had high expectations of those two movies but they just didn't cut it.

Raging Bull for example is a hundred times better movie than Taxi Driver, in all aspects. Serpico also beats Dog Day Afternoon by a mile in my book, even though critically it's supposedly weaker of the two.

Yeah I knew that.

Serpico is amazing.It isnt boring,and it has Pacino at his brilliant best.I found Taxi Driver better than Raging Bull however.I already had an idea about what to expect in the two movies,so i wasnt left dissapointed at all.

PS. number 2 : Pacino was asked to play Han Solo,but he turned down that role too!
