i only didn't understand, at the end, why rose and sharon weren't able to reunite with chris at the end...they were in the fog reality and he was in the normal world, why's that? are the mother and daughter actually dead or just in some sort of a different dimensions? i didn't get that bit, or that's one of those "for your consideration" endings..

saw it so long ago. cant even remember what happened. i just remember thinking to myself at the end, this movie is ok :toast:

yeah, the ending kinda saved it. i don't usually like horror movies at all but this one actually had a storie as it turned out to be.

i didn't really understand the ending much either, i think it might be that when they reached slient hill and they crashed, they died, and entered the "silent hill world", which is why the sean bean character couldn't see them when he was in the same place (i.e. he was in teh real world, they were not)

So, DB... yesterday my Canadian expat friends forced me to watch a CBC show that makes Jackass look like BBC material: Kenny vs. Spenny.

Needless to say, I now feel 30% more stupid than usual today.

I also just watched "Ocean's Eleven" and "Ocean's Twelve". I liked the first one, but what kind of postmodernist shit is the second one meant to be? Sure, it's a lot of fun, but it seems like the actors are the ones getting it. Julia Roberts playing herself, Brad Pitt commenting on "Miller's Crossing" (while we all know the recognition the Coen Brothers get by the likes of Pitt and Clooney) and numerous other things are just too much.

Some of the shit they do on that show is disgusting. It's funny though because Kenny always tries to cheat to win, like the one where he locked Spencer in this little room with a camera so he couldn't compete in the contest. If I remember correctly there's no toilet so Spenny starts to scream and throw his feces all over the room.
