miami vice. it's the sort of film where your eyes bleed out of sheer dulness and you just wanna fast forward the damn thing but you can't because you keep expecting the good part to start. and it starts with the end. HORRIBLE.

I saw Fist of the Northern Star recently. It's crap, but it was 3am, at which hour I'll enjoy just about anything.

It's a violent marshal arts movie, based on some Manga comics. The lead roles are all played by white people though, which seemed a bit odd. It's set in a futuristic wasteland (with proper acid rain even). It has a certain style going for it though. Maybe worth a watch, but don't expect anything.

What got me about this movie was Costas Mendalor...a martial artists?...who would have thought?

..

Deja Vu - Very well told, But dissapointing overall. Haven't we've seen enough movies about going back in time already?

The Illusionist - Exellent movie. Great actings by Giamatti and Norton.

I used to like Almodovar. After Todo Sobre Mi Madre I quit liking him though. Sure, you can be disgusting, but it has to stop somewhere :D.
