Was Angels&Deamons any good? I have it downloaded but haven't bothered to watch it yet.

Not as good as the first. More action oriented, but the storyline wasn't as complex.

Didn't even know it was out on bit torrent. Is it a Blu Ray rip?

Downloading the Watchmen (Director's Cut) as we speak

He does & thats why i like him.People like him are offer alot & i like observing weird individuals much like Tom Cruise.
I like weird individuals such as Marlon Brando. His unlimited talent was the reason for him looking too bizarre. Some guys on the other hand, act weirdly to fake talent and intelligence :D

C'mon name names Hoori.:DPersonally i do think mel gibson has some screws loose like tom cruise but they have way too much going on in their heads to stay in touch with reality. Also the most intelligent ppl alive have no common sense what so ever & can be perceived as nuts. Then again if everyone thought along the same lines we would never have groundbreaking technology & methods come into place.

Johnny Depp is another interesting character to say the least & ive actually met him in person when he was here in cape town a few years back. He's actually a very down to earth guy & quite the deep individual unlike leonardo di caprio who is a complete prick & acts like a hermit.

I completely agree on the bold part. Thing is that I doubt we're talking about Mel Gibson there :D

Saw Watchmen and Duplicity.

Watchmen starts a bit slow, but i enjoyed the film overall, but you have to know your history.

Duplicity was quite a good film. I liked the ending as it was a shock and also as I predicted it a bit before it happened

Ok i did go off the walk way there but he does have some sort of vision & he certainly knows how to push buttons.Still you havent explained your hate for gibson besides him being a bible thumper.

I enjoyed Apocolypto as well.

Not only that, I believe that he doesn't know how to exploit the violence scenes potential capabilities in the right direction. Much of the violence being involved in his movies is utterly unnecessary. I'm not against violence in movies, not at all, but let me give you an example; Tarantino placed violence in Pulp Fiction near perfect but then he lost the right way in Kill Bills.

Some years ago, sex scenes in movies could bring a hell amount of dollars for the producers. Many of those scenes were necessary to lead the movie's goal but some of them on the other hand only aimed at the box-office. Now that the world is gonna go crazy, people tend to ENJOY watching movies full of sickening violence scenes and I think Mel Gibson is more thinking about satisfying that group of viewers rather than to mind his movie's main purpose (unless his main purpose is to satisfy that sick group of people :D).

We Own The Night... Not bad but a bit cringe worthy.
the opening scene with Eva Mendez was the highlight of the film

terrible, terrible movie

I thought it was pretty good. Dear god it has you in suspense so badly.
:sergio:

just saw zack and miri make a porno, not bad, fairly mor.
again bloody awful, and not very funny for a comedy

watched sliding doors after my couisin kept nagging about it!! i thought it wasa great movie. its very different as it shows two different scenerio's but non the less a great movie to watch.

In all honesty you cant compare the cast for pulp fiction & kill bill, huge huge difference imo.But i get the just of what your saying,in the end us men(minus ahmed & his liking for chick flicks.:D) are barbarians at heart & love the gorry stuff.:D

Ahmed i am only gonna tell you this once more, stop watching chick flicks and man up

Give him a break,he's getting used to being a bachelor but i do love how he uses his cousin as a cover.:D
Atleast he's not watching the flagship chick flicks like serendipity, sleepless in seattle & titanic. He might actually watch them soon.:sergio:
