I think I can help you there..

first, gandalf and Saruman were both sent by the VALAR (it is like a goddess) to maintain peace and security in the middle earth.. now, Saruman was good, but when the evil of sauron spreaded, it seduced saruman and corrupt him and eventially he betrayed the order of the wizards.. and gandalf whose order is lower than saruman completed that task which was assigned for him and he has defeated the balrock (spelling ??) and died.. but the VALAR sent him back with a new task.. and upgraded his order (gray-->WHITE) to help him accomplish his task..
Oh im iluminated now!!!:cool::D

NOw i understand....so gandalf and saruman and some powerful beings sended by a god named valdar........jejej that is hat i wanted to know when he referred to "they":

"they sended me back to end my mission".

Yeah i was thinking the same... that he died in battle.

What's pf?

Kill Bill is out generally in November. Saw the trailer today - looked disappointing, but who can tell from a trailer anyway?

I watched Underworld. Not great, but with redeaming features.

If that was the case, Vitoria, they would have made 10 Godfather movies just to cover the first novel alone.

Not that I would complain, as long as they were'nt as bad as Godfather 3.

And you're referring to what exactly in my post?
I completely dont get, what your post has to do with mine.

I think he's referring to the line "He (the director) has to explain everything in the movie".

The best directors and screenwrites can shade levels of depth to a movie world by leaving things hanging unknown, for the audience to fill in, or just to hint at greater things.

Even Tolkien did it in the Hobbit. Lord of the Rings is an attempt to fill some of the shadings. Books like the Simarilon (sp?) are an even more detailed attempt. You can't explain everything about world as complex as Middle Earth in 90 minutes or 6 hours. Even if you were to leave out a plot!

Well, so he didnt understood my point of view at all.
Cause I was referring only to that: director didnt explained, cause he thought, that people read the book.

What I meant was, that the directer, when he makes some movie, has to include everything in that movie (everything in meaning: what he started, showed in movie, he has to finish, explain in movie - he has to make whole coherent story from the book), to make it understandable, he cant count on fact, that some people read the book and some didnt - it would be ridiculous: hey you people, who didnt understood my movie: didnt you read the book? So go and read, you will understand my movie.

I hope I explained my point better now.

Good to see you too vit, Jus been busy

If you like old b-movie horror films then yes it was great.... took me back to the good days of the evil dead etc etc

Which brings me to a film i cant beleive i forgot and was actually the reason i made the post.
I said kill bill was the best film of the year.... though i loved it and willl watch it many many times there is actually one film i have seen lately which impressed and entertained me more (though admittedly it was no where near as good a 'film' as kill bill ).

    BUBBA-HO-TEP

This is a truely amazing work of art with a phenominal performance by bruce campbell.... and the strangest most original story you will see.
If you get the chance to see this please do... you wont regret a second of it.
Unfortunately many may well never get the chance to see this peice of cinema genius.
If it shows at a festival or screening near you .... drop everything and go enjoy BUBBA-HO-TEP!!

Well, I was wathing b-movie horror films, but I'm not big fan of them.

I saw some movies with Bruce Campbell, but we always have so different titles than original ones.
But I will check it out.

Anger Management... :undecide: Kinda funny I guess, but way to american. The ending made me sick.

Hollywood Homicide... Who makes these crappy movies. Terrible to see Harison Ford in such a crappy movie.

Pirates of the caribbean... :thumb: Really entertaining, great stunts, effects, plot and so on... a bit long though

Tears of the sun... :undecide: Kinda good if you have nothing better to do. To many jerk-off moments...

The Italien Job... :undecide: Not a great movie, but good on a sunday night, if you're tired and just wanna watch some shit.

A man a part... :) Ok I guess. For the first time I enjoyed a movie starring Vin Diesel...

Basic... :groan: What a load of crap. Amazingly this movie stars John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson, but it still sucks. Total crap.
