    Movies I've seen recently,

    Hmmm, Let's See...................

"Once upon a time in Mexico" w/antonio banderas, the absolutely GORGEOUS Selma Hayek, and the greatest actor of all time, well, according to me anyways, Johnny Depp.

    It's the sequel to "Desperado"

I liked it, my wife was indifferent.

Bought the Two Towers DVD so that I could watch the 15 minute preview to "Return of the King"

When gandalf was falling with the demon into the abyss,,,in the end,,they fell in a big underwater lake or somethinglike that.

Later...when he was telling the guys about his fight with the demon.....they showed gandalf and the demon fighting in a "snowy castle"?¿?¿

how the hell the reached that place in the center of the earth?¿?
    And why gandalf became white?

But there was good explanation in thread about TTT.

Okay, I think I can answer these.

After they fell deep into the earth, their battle rages through the whole mountain, until they eventually emerge at the peak. I presume what wou're referrring to is just the mountain-top.

I think I can help you there..

first, gandalf and Saruman were both sent by the VALAR (it is like a goddess) to maintain peace and security in the middle earth.. now, Saruman was good, but when the evil of sauron spreaded, it seduced saruman and corrupt him and eventially he betrayed the order of the wizards.. and gandalf whose order is lower than saruman completed that task which was assigned for him and he has defeated the balrock (spelling ??) and died.. but the VALAR sent him back with a new task.. and upgraded his order (gray-->WHITE) to help him accomplish his task..

and he didn't fight with the demon climbin all the way up again, they just continued fighting till they reached another place which was the peak of the mountain we saw in the movie..
I know it was a bit odd.. coz it was not explained well..

the director didn't explain everything in the movie coz he thought that most of the people already know about it from the books..

I think it was more of a time issue. There's so much detail in the books that it's very hard to convey it in such a short time.

I dont agree with that, the director cant assume sth like that, cause the movie would be incomprehensible for most, like 80% people.
He has to explain everything in the movie, however it can be difficult, cause of this time issue.

If that was the case, Vitoria, they would have made 10 Godfather movies just to cover the first novel alone.

Not that I would complain, as long as they were'nt as bad as Godfather 3.
