I saw Spielberg's Munich the other night. Interesting, but a bit long and fragmented. I've read that it's taken flack from both sides, which is probably a good sign.

i saw Munich yesterday.
it was nice to see many israeli actors and hearing some words in Hebrew, but it present both sides in a negative way.
also the story behind the murder of israeli's athletes isn"t "true enough" the facts about this murder are wrong.
:agree:

I saw this German movie called "The Edukators" it's really great. It's about left-wing activists in today's Germany, but don't be afraid, it's not a political movie IMO.

It's with Daniel Bruhl, the same actor who starred in "Goodbye Lenin" another german movie that I really liked.

So, if you want to see a non-Hollywood film, I really recommend these 2 movies.

And the soundtrack of The Edukators is mind-blowing!

Oh, GOD, edpiero, shopgirl is one of THE worst movies Ive watched in recent times! I had to forward the whole movie because it was too slow, and even when forwarded it was still slow.

Anyone watched TransAmerica?
