Fever Pitch, both editions. I identify more with the original though being about football and all that, but both are good movies...

Oldboy

A japanese film about a man imprisoned in a room for 15 years and then released not knowing why or who imprisoned him but desperately seeking revenge.

This is a great movie, i loved it.

As usual hollywood is making a remake which will bee out in 2006 but i suggest you see the original because the director of this movie is simply brilliant and not watching it would be an insult to cinema.

Cidade de deus(city of god)

pheew, one ot my all time favorite movies.

About Brazilian steet gangs that reign the ghettos of rio de janeiro and about a boy who just want to be a photographer.

No one who likes movies with a criminal element will be disaponted by this one, this i can almost guarantee.

Fight Club

The first rule of fight club is, you do not talk about fight club. The second rule of fight club is, You do NOT talk about fight club!.

Twisted movie from director David fincher about the commercialism in the world and especially in the US.

Never boring, never predictable, a breeze of fresh air.

If you are bored with seeing the same types of movies over and over again you will like this one.

A dog day afternoon

Al pacino in one of his breakthru roles about a bankrobber who captivated the county. Based on a true story. Great movie.

Tony Montana, I saw 'dog day afternoon' recently as well. What a film, really gripping. Searching for a dvd version of the film, I wonder if it exists.

Funny detail: The two Corleone brothers together in the film as well.

Total brilliance as you can expect of a Steven Seagal flick!

.. number of goofs is also pretty nice in this masterpiece ..

Old Boy is a Korean movie, and for those who are Tarantino fans it happens to be his favourite movie.
Really? Cool. I loved that movie.

Old Boy
Korean film, subtitled. Great movie. A guy gets randomly abducted, and imprisoned for fifteen years. He doesn't know who did it or why. He's realeased without warning, and tracks down who imprisoned him, who then challenges him to find out the far more important question of why.

The fight scene in the corridore of his prison, in which Oh Dae-Su takes on a dozen or so men armed with lengths of timber, he himself having only a hammer, is the best I've ever seen.

Be warned, the twists at the end, while very unexpected, are quite disturbing - don't watch if you have a delicate moral sence. Otherwise a great film.

Gray, I never know Korean was such a great language for shouting threats in! :) Or maybe the guy who plays Oh Dae-Su is just that good an actor.
