I heard the new Atlas Shrugged is even worse than Showgirls. :seven:

I asked a friend of mine who saw it, because a good friend of his loves Ayn Rand (and apparently is mentally stuck in his sophomore year of college): "Is it Objectivism's answer to Scientology's Battlefield Earth?"

He was like, "No. Far, far worse than you can ever imagine."
They made a movie based on an Ayn Rand book? What the hell were they thinking?

The only interpretation of anything Ayn Rand inspired that is any good is the first side of Rush's 2112 LP

Oh, and shame on all of you that haven't seen Pulp Fiction yet.

Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield are two of the greatest characters in movies in the last 30 years

I've never seen the Lifetime movie entitled Her Eyes Were Raped By Grand-Step-Mother Brother or The Thanksgiving Boots.

 Good point.

I've never seen Mega-Shark vs Crocogodzilla.
I do think I've seen a Mega-Shark movie, however.

They fly, right?

:lol2: Or Baby Monitor: Sound of Fear.

Wtf, majority of you are wtf, missed so many movies.
lol, this.

Pulp Fiction for one is awesome.
So's Godfather
Avatar's only good in 3-D
I like Scarface too, both the original and Pacino one.
Matrix part I is awesome!
All Die Hard and James Bond movies are the shit and can't be missed.
LOTR is meh.
Taxi Driver is a good movie.
Terminator I is pretty cool too.
Mafia movies seldom disappoint, I've liked all so far but they do usually have some great actors in them.

That's pretty much it I think.

Movies you need to see:

A Bronx Tale
Departed
If the older DiCaprio is in it, it's a good movie. Same goes for Matt Damon, Wahlberg on the other hand has been doing some stupid ones.

It's just a funny coincidence I gave 3 friends of mine who happen to be roommates and one of them is an actor; both taxi driver and scarface, they disliked both

I told them watch them again but forget the movie itself and watch de niro and pacino's characters on their own, and only after they did they started to appreciate both movies, and the actor guy got extremely impressed

 i always wonder about the people who list Scarface as one of their favourite movies. to me the film itself would be watchable but ultimately forgettable if not for Pacinos performance. The Deer Hunter is another example(except that there are several top class performances in that) and more recently Edward Norton gave probably the greatest performance i have seen in the last 20 years in American History X

-Great choices indeed. What do you think of Edward Scissorhands, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, Blood Diamond, City of God, Children of Men and The Truman Show?
Sorry I know the list is too long :D
but specially Children of Men is a movie I really liked and almost everyone else disagreed with me when we saw it, which reminds me, "Derailed" for Clive Owen is great too.

-I love Ed Norton acting, even in Kingdom of Heaven when he was just a voice under a mask he was still amazing
In the Godfather trilogy the 1st is the best for sure, but I just love watching De Niro in the 2nd part, he was way beyond amazing
There's also Scent of a Woman, not one of my favourite movies but Al Pacino deserved that Oscar completely
