What is it with Hollywood actors overacting so much? How comes I watch a movie with like a dozen acknowledged Hollywood stars and Louis CK ends up being the only decent actor? And why do you need to destroy a nice little Gangster story by filling it with not one, but two love triangles stealing a full hour at least. Is it because you want to include atrocious dialogues and actors who can't act for shit? Ah oh and please, Americans, please stay away from trying to imitate an English accent.

I wouldn't go full Dule, but I mostly agree with you. Why watch David O. Russell (most overrated director in Hollywood) and Christian Bale rip off Scorsese and De Niro when you can watch the real thing? Well, if American Hustle actually had anything to say, then fair enough, but it's all style, no substance.

He is not serious leading man acting giant, but he can be very funny and charming in roles like these (is MADE for this role), especially if given a good project, not a guy who has been given that much so far.
Wolverine origins was bad, best thing about that movie was this scene, same character as he is going to play in Deadpool (this is before he became deadpool):

Litterally no other actor but him that I can imagine could play this role.
He will or he is not Deadpool, its that simple. Plus Reynolds has had this as his pet project big time for long time, so pretty sure he wouldnt agreed to do it if essential stuff like that was left out.
His fights in this game was like a game on its own (litterally take the health bars of characters and beat them with it, or berate us the players or ask capcom for covers)
Though I can imagine its not as easy to breaking 4th wall in movies compared to on paper, though House of Cards tend to do it well in little tongue in cheek kinda way.

I havent seen it, liked him since Van wilder days, but not really seen him do big time breakthrough stuff yet, but generally quite funny and entertaining actor IMO.
His fights in this game was like a game on its own (litterally take the health bars of characters and beat them with it, or berate us the players or ask capcom for covers)
Though I can imagine its not as easy to breaking 4th wall in movies compared to on paper, though House of Cards tend to do it well in little tongue in cheek kinda way.
