Just watched Captain Philips and thought it was kind of shit. Didn't deserve as many accolades as it received. Tom Hanks who I love wasn't great, the somalie actors were lame (how that dude got a best supporting nomination by the Academy i'll never know) and the story was predictable and not true to the actual events.

James McAvoy and Ben foster should of been nominated for awards for Filth and Lone Survivor btw.

i don't agree with you there... Tom Hanks was awesome in Captain Philips...

I have seen Mud... Good movie but it takes a long while for it to become interesting...

Maybe it is because I read up on the story before I watched the movie and felt like they where trying to make the real Captain Philips more heroic than he actually was because I normally always love Tom Hanks he is one of my favourite actors. I will give Mud a try tonight.

Yeah I do like those kind of grittier British movies now and again. The last couple I watched were Ill Manors and Wild Bill.

Don't listen to him. The Wolverine is just another X-Men movie. It could be better but it's not bad. And it is better than Wolverine: Origins. If you like X-Men movies and superhero movies you won't waste your time on The Wolverine.
