Simao is crap, we should get Deisler or Schweinsteiger or even that guy from Porto Quaresma.
deisler? that guy is injured 10 months in a year. talented, yes, but he is totally fvcked up.

bastian woud be awesome, but damn near impossible to get.

quaresma is little of a show off, though he has some great skills. for a fair price i'm fine with it.

Deisler is a fantastic player, underrated, however yes, injuries are killing him and he has some personal problems. We should wait until we see if he is possible to play for at leat 2/3 of a season and then buy him, I don´t know how is his status in Bayern now, I think they are cursing their luck with him...:D

Damien Duff or Quaresma would be kickass. How old is Duff now?
I happened to be in England right now and I have few Newcastle matches (Not a lot though) this season down the pub, but I think it is pretty evident Damien Duff is past it. I feel his done unless he can transform his game a bit. He lost his pace by which he used to get behind the defenders, and he has never been a fantastic dribbler on technique a la Ryan Giggs. Duff is a damaged good, not worth the investment.

I think Vlakto's assessment on those players are pretty fair.

Why did Deisler suffer from depression btw? Does anyone know this?

Yeah, Damien Duff is one of those players who give their peak when they are 25 years old and then fall forgotten.:D

Schweinsteiger would be a great investment but will Bayeren release him soon after sacrificing Ballack?? I think they consider him the future team leader after Ballack departure.

Schweinsteiger has not the same characteristique like nedved and schweini can not make a game he has no passing skills. see how bayern is now that they has not substituted Ballack and used to let play schweini in the old ballack position. and schweini will only left bayern for around 25 mil euros. and deisler is not juve material.

seriously i would be happy is someone made a definition of "juve material". seems i am the only one who can't make those distinctions, who is or isn't "juve material".

Quaresma is good, though I don´t know if he would fit in Juventus.

Schweini cannot make a game?

No, he only solved the game VS Portugal by scoring 2 beautiful goals.

He is exactly the type of player like Nedved: Strong, fast, good passing and a thunder shot.:agree:

duff is only 27 or 28 two seasons ago he on fire with chelsea, now he has joined a poor newcastle side who struggle to supply him with enough possession and even played a good few matches as a left back he picked the wrong club to join, i think in juve he would flourish.

also quaresma looks good but i dislike simao not consistent enough overrated
