The 'procura' (sort of D.A.) ordered that Massimo Moratti, Ghelfi, Gambaro and Galliano should be prosecuted in a fraud case on financial statements.

The accusations are that both Inter and Milan stated bigger amounts on player transactions, in order to boost the financial statements. Basically, it seems both clubs exchanged young players for high prices, hinting on fraud of some kind.

This inquiry started in 2004 after denunciation by the then president of Bologna, and already brought Sensi (Roma) and Cragnotti (ex-Lazio) before court.

The situation could be the worst for Inter, as following the Guardia di Finanzia, they would not have reached the minimum requirements for starting the 2005-2006 season without this fraud.

More to come later I guess. :coffee:

I hope so, but I doubt much will come of this.
A financial fine at most, and that surely isn't a problem for that rich b*st*rd.

Inter were accused of falsifying their finances by blowing up some players values to fit their books and because of this and other factors couldn't sign up for the Serie A campaign. Milan did the same except the signing up to Serie A thing I think.

Now I just read that Moratti would be cleared but Galliani would be still prosecuted. Galliani says Milan is innocent.

We can clearly see that the "power" in Italy is merdazzurro.
