The 'procura' (sort of D.A.) ordered that Massimo Moratti, Ghelfi, Gambaro and Galliano should be prosecuted in a fraud case on financial statements.
The accusations are that both Inter and Milan stated bigger amounts on player transactions, in order to boost the financial statements. Basically, it seems both clubs exchanged young players for high prices, hinting on fraud of some kind.
This inquiry started in 2004 after denunciation by the then president of Bologna, and already brought Sensi (Roma) and Cragnotti (ex-Lazio) before court.
The situation could be the worst for Inter, as following the Guardia di Finanzia, they would not have reached the minimum requirements for starting the 2005-2006 season without this fraud.
More to come later I guess. :coffee:
