LIVERPOOL, Mascherano remain...thanks to Sissoko
30.01.2008 11.10

Javier Mascherano (23) will dress still Liverpool jersey. Would lack some details, but the club would have reached an agreement with the agents of the Argentinian midfielder. For his definitively transfer Liverpool will have to pay 25 million euros. A purchase become possible thanks to Sissoko transfer to Juventus. To declare that Rafa Benitez: "Javier has been clear in his will to want remain, we don't are in hurry to end, and money that we have earned with Sissoko will help surely the negotiation".

If Moggi was still runing things, he would let SHITsooko at L'pool and got instead Mascherano...But now we helpd them...I hate SUCCKO...

Unfortunately Chiellini cannot take the left side as that would leave us very vulnerable in the centre. Molinaro wasn´t brought to be a first team player but a cover for Giorgio but injury of Andrade fucked it all up. Molinaro has done well since
Which Juve have you been watching? Molinaro has been the weakest player on the pitch all season long. To say that he's done well is an absolute farce. He's pathetic.

Sissoko: I Aim To Be A Great Midfielder

Momo Sissoko has spoken of his delight at joining Juventus and says that his aim is to develop into a great midfielder at the club.

The Mali international finally completed his move to the Bianconeri from Liverpool yesterday for €13m.

“I'm very happy to be in Turin,” Sissoko told Juventus channel.

“I underwent the medical exams and I feel very good. Juventus are a great Club, exceptional players have played here, and it’s really fantastic to be part of such a set-up for a young guy like me, who’s just turned 23.”

Sissoko caused some controversy when he turned down Juventus in the summer, claiming that Liverpool were a “bigger club”. However he has clearly now had a change of heart on the situation.

“Ive watched many Italian league games, it's great football and there are many talented players, some of which are at Juventus, so it's going to be fantastic to play at their side and also having the chance to work with Claudio Ranieri again,” Sissoko added.

“He was my manager at Valencia, I know his personality and his convictions in terms of football, I think he's a great manager.” Finally Sissoko outlined what the Juventus fans can expect from him for the future.

“I'm a fighter who likes to press,” he explained.

“My aim is to become a great midfielder and I can reach it at Juventus. This will be a fundamental experience for me, an important step in my career.”

Sissoko on Juve mission Wednesday 30 January, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mohamed Sissoko cannot wait to get started in his new career with Juventus. “I am a warrior,” said the former Liverpool star.

The midfielder completed his transfer this week and is expected to make his debut against Cagliari after Mali’s elimination from the African Cup of Nations.

“I am very happy to be in Turin, I completed my medical and feel very good,” said Sissoko.

“Juventus are a great club and many champions have played hear, so it is truly fantastic to be a part of that aged 23.”

It is a reunion for the midfielder and Claudio Ranieri, who already worked together in Spain at Valencia.

“I have seen many Serie A games, they play beautiful football and there are plenty of talents, some of whom play for Juventus, so it will be fantastic to be by their side and of course to work with Ranieri again.

“He was my Coach at Valencia, I know his character and the way he views football. I think he is a great tactician.”

Sissoko already has an enviable CV with a Liga title, UEFA Cup, two European Super Cups, an FA Cup and League Cup.

“I am a warrior and I like to put pressure on opponents. My objective is to become a great midfielder and at Juventus I can do that,” added the 23-year-old.

“This will be a crucial experience for me and an important step in my career.”

Our hopes and dreams rely on Sissoko.
Who would have thought we'd be saying this even a month ago... Nocerino is showing some weakness, Tiago is ruined (if he's even around tomorrow), Almiron is gone, and Salihamidzic is brutal the more he plays.

Pretty much Sissoko forms a brilliant partnership with Zanetti, or we're in deep shit.

What we pay 13 mill wtf? Sorry Juve, Liverpool so saw u comming!
true, but with the sales of almiron and most likely tiago as well, i think they will cancel each other out...2 players for 1, who isnt even as good as tiago, plus the money wasted last summer on getting almiron and tiago...so need a sniper hanging around juve headquarters to take secco out!

Sissoko Rejected Newcastle And Spurs For Juve

Mali international Mohamed Sissoko has revealed he spurned offers from Tottenham and Newcastle to join Juventus

Mohamed Sissoko's Liverpool exit had been on the cards for some time, but the tough-tackling midfielder has revealed that he could have stayed in England - but chose not to.

The Mali international completed an £8.2m move to Italian giants Juventus on Tuesday, bringing an end to an Anfield career that had suffered a steady decline after some impressive displays in the previous two seasons.

“A lot of people were interested in me, notably Tottenham and Newcastle,” he was quoted as saying in The Daily Mirror.

Nevertheless, it appears that Sissoko remains confident in his abilities to hold down a spot at a top club, despite losing out to Gerrard, Alonso and Mascherano at Anfield. The potential lure of Champions League football with Juventus next season seems to have swung it for the ex-Valencia man.

Though I appreciate your sarcasm, Sissoko didn't say such a stupid thing. The Spurs and Newcastle cartainly offered him better personal deals than we did. Not every player would do that.
