Al Jazeera comm: Sissoko is seriously injured and is not a fatigue issue or problem but Juventus were trying to hide this from Media to be 100% sure of his injury and what type of injury.

He could be sidelined for at least 40days.

Sissoko leaving for Bayern?
Wednesday 9 December, 2009

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Juventus are prepared to sell Momo Sissoko to last night's opponents Bayern Munich.

Sissoko missed the game after suffering yet another injury, this time to his thigh, ruling him out for at least three weeks.

Juventus are reportedly frustrated with the Mali international and feel that the progress of Claudio Marchisio and the amount invested in Felipe Melo makes his sale a possibility.

Sissoko apparently left Juventus's base at the Hotel Meridien in Lingotto yesterday afternoon and drove across town to the Hotel Principi where Bayern were staying.

He held talks there with his agent Jose Segui and faced up to the prospect of leaving Turin in the summer.

Juventus believe they can sell Sissoko for close to £20m, which would be an £8m profit on the price they paid Liverpool in January 2008.

Bayern are in the market for a holding midfielder as Anatoliy Tymoschuk, the Ukraine international they signed from Zenit in the summer, has failed to settle despite scoring the German's fourth goal last night.
