He finds better positions than Morata. Somehow the finishing is worse right now.
The haters are blind to that. The guy scores the goal to win the match but their agenda is to point out the negatives. Anybody realize he hasn't reached age 22 yet. Appears this guy is treated here like McKenn. Athletic but too dumb to improved. Love the posters here who completely value positioning as the end all to a player's worth. Well Kean might have screwed up not getting a couple more goals but he was in position to score them today.

Kean’s definitely not dumb. His finishing is questionable and his technique can be clumsy. But he seems pretty intelligent with his movement to me.

Name a couple forwards that exploded AFTER their 100th first tier appearance.
First tier where? Do we count Netherlands, Poland etc?

In terms of career minutes Kean hasn't come close yet to his 100th appearance.

In terms of stats Cavani was a joke with Palermo and suddenly exploded in Napoli after 4 seasons with Palermo. He was 23/24 when he got to Napoli.

Lewandowski was awful his first year in Borussia, had well over a 100 apps between Poland and Germany first tier and exploded in his 2nd year with Dortmund. He was 23/24 at the time.

Suarez was 24 when he got to Liverpool, exploded really in his 3rd season both at Ajax and at Liverpool.

And this is only some of the best strikers of the last 20 years. Not saying Kean will ever be on that level but in terms of time for development, physical and mental maturity, he has years ahead of him.

Mbappe and Haaland are really warping people's expectations. Most players in general, not just strikers, don't reach their full development until 25-26 years old.

Drogba was a consistent double digit scorer from his first full season. Toni was scoring double digit goals in his second season, 20 before his 100th appearance. His best season came around his 100th.
The appearances things is beyond dumb. Drogba’s first full season in a top division league was Ligue 1 2002-03. He turned 25 that season. Drogba’s age 21-22 season he made 30 appearances in ligue 2 and scored 7 goals. Are you saying Kean is further behind in his development or something?

And you want to bash Kean because he hasn’t exploded into a superstar by the time he is 21?

If he scores double digits this season that puts him at back to back seasons with double digit goals, by the way.

Morata was far more dynamic and creative player than Kean a few years back. They have nothing in common, although both have never been very prolific.

DanielSz is the user who rates literally every youngster, except for the one who showed the most at the age of 21.

It is easy to forget how young he is. I don't think he will develop into a Suarez but I don't see why he can't develop into a Lukaku type striker. His movement around the box is very good and he is strong but his touch lets him down at times.

The problem for me is at the moment both him and Morata are far from what we need at their current levels. I also wouldn't want to pay the price tag that has been set with Everton. I hope we can negotiate it down significantly but will depend on the terms of the obligation.

Hopefully he improves as he gets more game time. I'd like him to start against Venezia.

Showing the most among young homegrown Juve players is a lousy measurement stick. He is nowhere near the top prospects in Europe.

He’s 21. He has lots of time. We can all name lots of forward who exploded after 21. He also did score 19 goals last season, which isn’t too shabby for a 20 year old.
PI, don't you know Kean only scored that many because he had two SUPERSTARS playing with him. That's according to the same poster who referred to McKenn as "atrocious" and "useless" in one word posts. Just looking up back in 2014 after first couple months of Max's debut as Juve manager he even referred to him as "useless coach" lol! Well we see how that has worked out, nicely may I add.

What does this even mean?

In terms of stats Cavani was a joke with Palermo and suddenly exploded in Napoli after 4 seasons with Palermo. He was 23/24 when he got to Napoli.

Cavani was a consistent double digit scorer from his second full season at Palermo, so after about 40 appearances. If that’s a joke, what’s Kean’s career at Juve?

Lewandowski was awful his first year in Borussia, had well over a 100 apps between Poland and Germany first tier and exploded in his 2nd year with Dortmund. He was 23/24 at the time.

Lewandowski was a 20 goal scorer his second season in bundesliga, so after 33 appearances. I don’t really count Poland as first tier but he was a double digit scorer there in both years as well.

Suarez was 24 when he got to Liverpool, exploded really in his 3rd season both at Ajax and at Liverpool.

Suarez was scoring double digit goals from the minute he stepped into Eredivisie. He scored 17 goals and had 14 assists in his first season at Ajax.

Honestly, it sucks having to debate people that like to stretch the truth to fit their narrative.
