i thought dybala was 23 already when we bought him, my bad. the other ones either weren't starters (lemina, sturaro lol) or were bought after kean left us (demi, kulu, chiesa), so kean should have been a visionary to know that a rejuvenation will happen at juve.

agreed about his impatience, but he had no reason to think that he could have realistically become a starter in a season or two. during the same summer he left, he also saw spina getting sold purely for plusvalenza then being replaced by nobody in the squad. kean had the reason to believe that we handled most of our youth as part of our human trafficking scheme, and the same policy resulted in haaland picking dortmund. this should not happen. haaland cost them 20m, his next club will pay 75m if the rumors about his release clause are true.
Do you think it's a good idea for Juventus to have made Kean a starter a season or two after his last one here? Kean is not Messi or Mbappe. Going into the season with 19yo as a guaranteed starter is suicide. He would have played significant minutes and rotated, like other young players.

He went to Everton and flopped for a full season, now at PSG he is not a guaranteed starter like Mbappe and Neymar are, and is still behind Icardi and Di Maria. Injuries let him play more. His situation would not have been different here.

Forgot also about Morata who was 22 or so when we signed him the first time.

why people sad over this?

what we should be sad about is not fixing midfield. we should be sad about thiago joining liverpool for a low fee of 20 million. thats a juve type transfer right there

It was always a stupid decision to sell him. Even while he was floundering at Everton. Just moronic management, nothing else.
Either cash need or something. But that didn't seem too smart.

Oh, the midfield is our #1 disaster. But hearing the winter transfer window talk about how we need a backup to Morata is beyond irritating.

it doesnt really matter.

even if he didn't leave to everton in 2019, he would have left in 2020 with sarri never rotating ronaldo and higuain and dybala

Looks like some forgot Kean was on his last year and we tried to extend him. Failing that, had to sell him.

Neither party can be blamed. I get why Kean/Raiola decided to leave. We were deemed a good destination for young players after Conte-Pogba. Back to that soon.

Having said that, Kean scoring in a single, open game vs a crap defense in itself or a good half year doesn't mean much. Lmao at him being a starter for us esp two years ago.
